What’s so awful about showering?
What’s so awful about showering?
You know that you have been to the comic shop and there were at least one or more of those fanboys that refuse to shower. A couple of times there have been comic book conventions in the area and I’ve avoided them, not only for financial reasons, but because I dislike smelly fanboys and the other fanatical fans, and I just couldn’t imagine the smell from an entire convention center full of them.
So, you know you are out there. Please share with us; “what is so awful about showering?”

I've heard of this before, but I've never experienced it myself. In a comic shop or at a convention. Maybe I've just been lucky.

I've experienced it at a lot of cons. I don't know what it is, but it's real. It's true of gamers, too, I'm afraid. Maybe worse. Try going to a gaming convention someday. Yikes.
San Diego seems to be fairly good about this, though. Once in a while (especially on Sunday) you might catch a whiff, but all in all, not bad. Perhaps all the sunscreen offsets the stink.

Showering
How about some freaking deodorant?
And how about a breath mint or 12?
