Borrow money from a pessimist, they don't expect it back.

These companies don't care about what your collection is worth after you purchase their piece, they exist to push profit and move product. Collectors are compulsive and tend to keep collecting even when they are disgruntled. Companies will continue to exploit this fact.

Most companies exploit the number on the bottom of the base. CS Moore and Bowen re-release their stuff in variants, and SS has pulled the greatest trick of all with exclusives by taking a segment of the production run, making a slight variation or packing in a $10 print, and making collector's think they have something rare.

Best thing we can do as a collectors is not buy into this hype.
Yes most of the companies in this hobby dont care about you and its a will known thing, just buy what you love and move on.

back to topic I pre-order 2 of them from BBTS

Probably not but the ES would give me an idea on when to PO this statue. If it's 1500 I probably should not wait too long. I am still on the fence whether I want to get it or not. This statue is too small for my collection, but I really like the sculpt and I do like the color of this new re-release better than the original one.

Does BBTS charge an NRD or cancellation fee?

No edition size was announced by the way. But DCD has stopped numbering statues anyway.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

They haven't been numbering recent stuff, so they probably won't number this one. I wouldn't worry about pre-ordering.
