And Honestly with that price we should at least have an ES. Because if it’s as popular as we all think he will be, this could be over 3500 ES. But if they are like nope, just 1000 ES, we might jump.

Love everything about it except the colors. This sorely needs a retro variant to make the rest of the body as bold as that laughing head.

EDIT: Did a quick mockup in Photoshop. TH would undoubtedly do a better job than this, but the bones (no pun intended) of something really cool are there.

Like others have said, I'll wait. It's a double-edged sword for producers these days. I realize they want to try and maximize sales with these TBD edition sizes, but most people are just in wait-and-see mode in this climate. No one wants to be the sucker that pays full price only later to see it discounted.

I also heard that Igo said there may be a variant if this sells well. Just another reason to wait.

I'm no expert, but I gotta believe that producers have a pretty good idea on how many they can move. I honestly think they'd be better served to just be upfront about everything and they'd probably make more retail sales with an informed consumer base. I can't imagine the TBD model really pushes the ES if it's just suppressing preorder numbers.

I could be wrong, though. *shrugs*

Is a TBD model really the way to maximize sales, then?

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

Easy pass until they do the classic colors. Then it will be hard to pass up. The sword looks short to me but guessing they know better than that and it’s just optics from the angle.

I don't think so, but then again, I don't know much of anything.

I'm in the camp where I prefer the colors as is. I get that the purple armor is more Filmation accurate, but on such a highly detailed and amazingly sculpted piece, it just ends up looking super cheese to me.

i like it from a nostalgic stand point but not from an aesthetic stand point. i think the filmation hordak variant looked good but as Northern said - on skeletor this detailed / realistic look calls for a paint job in the same vein
