The attorney I had initially, while his father was an attorney and his mother is a psychologist (meaning he's not "Joe Public" with a country bumpkin background), has had some "publicity" in the past, not all of it being positive. Plus... his "office", if that's in fact where I met him, was.... sparse? It was almost a broom closet.
I think I'm doing the right thing by looking around a bit more. The female attorney that's going to see me is about $200 an hour, but I'm betting after one session I'll know if I should retain her or not.
You should never go with the first person you see, and when I saw him... he just seemed... disheveled.

I'm off work today, and depressed. Sh!t ain't going right, and today's crappy weather isn't helping. And that Shawna's gone on my only day off for several weeks. May have to skip some OT later so we have some time together at home.
Good luck Ryan. Maybe we'll go see that movie too, tonight. Shawna loves those kind of movies, so maybe I can talk her into it.

Honestly? I'm worried about my financial situation once this is all over and done with, but... peace of mind and peace and quiet are two things that I'm looking forward to quite a bit. 
I'm out about $100k, and no telling when I'll be able to afford buying a house again.. but.. again, there's some positives to go with the negatives.
Cyn and I haven't argued in a couple months now, which is nice... I hope the rest of our time together is as smooth.
