I try to, especially now as a mod Some say that message boards are dead since the emergence of FB groups, but I find this place to be fairly active, or at least active enough.

FB is for sellers be it companies or collectors. Just a bunch of sycophants desperate for the next hot new nugget to drop from producers' back crack or desperate for a buy/sell. I have no interest.

Plus even in this day and age FB is slow and it's comments system not conducive for discussion.

I'll take my Forps and fellow curmudgeons any day.

Facebook groups nowadays are simply either promoting groups or echo chambers. If you disagree with the Company (in case of a company's group) or with the admins of other groups, they instantly ban you. Facebook is mainly for hype, promotion, to salivate over companies etc.

Forps only uses it to "smell" what is going on, who is promoting what company, who is getting "freebies", what is going on etc.

I recommend to NEVER comment, but to simply read, analyze etc in order to have the data you need to be "clever".
