I agree! The same thing I said in the New Hulk Movie Thread!
I am a purist, and if you want our loyalty and support you have to win our hearts. The studios are not going to do that by putting a director in the chair that wasn't a comic book fan to begin with, let alone a purist comic book fan. The soup is crap when there are too many chefs in the kitchen. The story was already written years ago. Do change it if it wasn't broken.

When you have a director that loves comics, like Sam Raimi, look what you get. Three good movies. Spide 1, 2, & 3! You may not be in love with all or any, but none sucked!
