SC has told me 30-60 days every month since November yet here we are, no Sauron. SC finally told me there is no room on the ships and has 5 shipments sitting in a Chinese warehouse. He has no clue when he is getting them and frankly dont expect to get Sauron anytime soon. I went ahead and bought him from P1 a month ago and its already been shipped. Other than SF, I will never buy a P1 piece from a distributor again.

Just an FYI US retailers including SC get them from GFX distribution so he's not the one getting them on those ships basically just passing information.

So i had 2 massive boxes show up yesterday 😀
Loving this statue, man he is massive!

Everything arrived perfect no damage at all but i do seem to have a problem with the Cod armor/chain mail (that?s why its missing from the statue in the pics),
I think they missed installing the magnet or it?s reversed in the body as the armor will not stay in place even without the chain mail (I thought maybe the chainmail made it to heavy), I tried putting a small screw driver to see if it would stick to the magnet but nothing. Other than that, this is a must have for any LOTR fan!
As of right now waiting to hear back from Prime 1 on what can be done.

There is a magnet there, its just very weak. Have you watched any YouTube videos of it being put on? There are some helpful ones that show some angles and tips to try and get it to stay. Just make sure you have him displayed where he's going to stay when you try. So that way it wont be disturbed.

Hey, Ya i checked a few vids out and still no luck, I checked with my flash light and i can see where the magnet should be I?m not sure if its just recessed to far up as there is an indentation and not flat to the surface.

As a temp fix for now i am going to try this magnet tape that i found that has adhesive on one side and is very thin, going to cut it and put it in the slot. Pic just for example, The stuff i got is much thinner.

Good idea with that tape. I imagine that should solve the issue. Congrats on your statue! It's definitely a special one.

I personally opted for the 1/6 Weta version which is shipping now, but the 1/4 is definitely impressive. I can't even imagine how big it is in person though.

Sorry about the troubles, and I hope the tape works for ya. The chain mail really does add an additional element of dread to the already intimidating piece. Its a shame Prime 1 failed so poorly on the design for that particular part of the statue. This guy is a strong 9 of 10 and if that had been executed properly, we're talking grail status.
