hopefully through the course of this entire thread you will see improvements in picture quality, specially after Zombie gets his new lens's (they are in transit)

Nice shots Zombie, I like the two of the cat, looks like my russian blue. The shot with the sneaker is cool too looks like it could be turned into a Nike advertisement or somthin'... :thumbs2:

so Zombie at looking at his pictures from a different sceen (Zombies at school atm) and dang, the pictures look so much better here. Zombie needs to adjust his home moniter and brighten it up a bit!

Zombies 50mm just arrived. these pictures where just sorta "point and shoot" to test it out.

1.8 is awesome :D however, photobucket changing the quality of Zombies images is not awesome :(

The Spyders and similar tools are used to calibrate your monitor so that the colors they display are more accurate. This is especially important for people that process their images. For example, if you were to process a picture in photoshop on a badly calibrated monitor. What you see on the screen may look fine to you but then when you upload the pic to the net, others may see totally different shades or tones on the same image. This is especially important if you print your images. I got the Spyder because I processed and printed a bunch of vacation pics. When I picked up the pictures they were much darker and less vibrant than what I saw on my screen. After I calibrated the monitor the printed pics look a lot closer to what I see on my lcd.

thanks for information! thats the explanation i needed. im not the brightest crayon in the box and sometimes i need thinks broken down as simple as possible :)

good stuff zombie. i would reccomend a Flickr account it does not degrade your photos quiet as much as photobucket
