This one is probably going to be one of my most anticipated statue when it comes out... I was thinking of different poses that Jerry could come up with.

And then I actually thought of one pose that has never been seen. ( At least I have never seen it in any game, comic or Movie) But I think it would be Uber cool... If the bandages of Sagats would be in real textile fabric I think it would be cool with a pose where he is actually putting them on just before a fight....

For me (and i'm sure for most other stret fighter fans as well) Sagats iconic win stance is best: Standing straight up, arms crossed w/ switch out heads (serious look & maniacal laugh look).

I like all the statues to be in a fighting stance so you can pair them up together for a battle scene.

For the 1/4 scale Mix media with fabric MuayThai stance for me to be cohesive with the rest when displayed. Request Exclusive be the Blue Pants. Regular version other colors. Then the eye patch be leather removable since there not much fabric on this.. I always wondered what does Sagats other eye looks like even in CG effect

I dont really do much distant planning. I sort of make who I feel like making when the time comes.

There is something very attractive about sculpting Fei Longs musculature as its very Bruce Lee. Very lean and sinewy. I dig that. I would be concerned that he could sell enough...though Zangiefs strong sales have taught me that even the less adored characters in Street Fighter seem to have a sizable fan base.

Some people want me to just use the Akuma as a base for Gouken...some want an entirely original sculpt.

Thing is, I can only release a few of these expensive statues per year and I think most people would not appreciate Gouken taking a slot when there are still so many important playable characters to make.

I can't wait for Sagat, hes gonna be a beast!!! So far I think your character selection has been top notch Jerry ;) I think finishing the original 12 would be best, then maybe after that the new challengers minus Cammy since you did her already. I personally would love to see some more dios soon though!!!

as far as Zangief selling well, dont underestimate the less popular characters!! and of course the HUGE sculpts! everyone loves the big guys in sculpt form!

What?! Zangief is like one of the most popular and beloved SF characters out there...he ranks up there with Chun-Li, Cammy, Bison, Vega, Sagat, and Blanka.

How is he less adored?

The bosses, Sagat, M. Bison, Vega, and Balrog would rank higher than Zangief's group (with Sagat being the most popular but not quite reaching the popularity level of Ryu's group).

Dee Jay and Fei Long would be somewhere in between Zangief's group and Sagat's group.

T. Hawk would be the bottom.

Akuma's still my fav pf and not because he's my fav character, but because the sculpt is just amazing. However I too believe that sagat will top akuma. Jerry's no amateur when it comes to sculpting sagat. You guys seen that life-size sagat he did back in the Sota days?

Mine as well and that's not because of his value, it's just a piece of art!! All the people looking at Ken, Vega, Zangief, ... telling me those are toys lol, but when they see Akuma, Shin Akuma or Ryu they always tell me they also would buy one of those as a decoration piece of art!! In my opinion Dhalsim, Honda and Sagat have the same potential.
I also like the SOTA Sagat, but he's to small :-(

That is a very unique suggestion and I like it better then the SSFIV pants. But he's right it would require another sculpt and casting because of the scar. The pants just don't work for me. An alternate color shorts would suffice.

Well he wouldn't have a choice in the separate head for the exclusive. There is no eye patch. I'm not even talking about a switch out, although I guess he could for sh*t's and giggles. Wouldn't make much sense though except to have a second option (even though it wouldn't be accurate to the source material).

That's a awesome idea but the only problem I see will be the cost, Jerry said the he will make Sagat the tallest and the best so I can only imagine how much will cost, I said 400 to 450 and if he make a alt. version with no scar and no patch Thats a new sculpt,he only have done so far alt costumes and paints and some are basically different characters like Evil Ryu and Shin Akuma imagine a different sculpt people will go crazy for the Ex and that's will be a problem at least for me because I'm a huge fan of Sagat and i will have to get them both ,so I said a alt costume will be better and cheaper but still would be awesome but that's just my opinion:thumbs2:

This will just ruin everything scale about the PCS SF line, Akuma, Ryu , Ken Vega and Cammy are all 1/4 a bit underscale.. now guile is taller which is closer to 1/4 scale.. Kinda hard to display them all together if scale will be a mis-match issue

They are available in the Xbox Live Marketplace or the Playstation Store, depending upon which console you have.

This will just ruin everything scale about the PCS SF line, Akuma, Ryu , Ken Vega and Cammy are all 1/4 a bit underscale.. now guile is taller which is closer to 1/4 scale.. Kinda hard to display them all together if scale will be a mis-match issue


Its in scale to the other statues. You arent compensating for shrinkage which happens twice. First when the original sculpture is molded and a tool master is cast. Second when the factory re-molds the tool master. This amounts to about 7% shrinkage

This is why I sometimes shouldnt say anything...instead of asking questions people jump all over things in a negative way.

Oh and Guile is perfectly to scale.

I will once I feel I am at a professional level. I dont want to put up anything not 100% as I can already see the naysayers jumping all over it and saying that the statues will never be as good digitally.

Probably early next year i will start to show stuff.

While there's nothing wrong w/ this rendition of Sagat's costume, it's honestly just a pair of track pants.
