Soon as I walked in, there was a table with current books for $1 (we've all seen these tables before, where you can get the last year's issues for different titles). Well, I went crazy at the table, and wound up overspending! And I hadnt even gotten into the con! :banghead:

Ive heard this strategy is very successful. Especially for large items like statues cause vendors aren't really trying to lug all those boxes back to their stores, and they're willing to dump stuff...

Yup, my buddy who runs a comic shop told me a long time ago nobody wants to take home anything they bring, and it works.
