That's true. The famous muscular thighs are the key. It's what sets Chun Li apart from other female characters whether it's from video game, anime or comic.

I'm a longtime SF collector and I'm real happy about the Chun Li announcement. The pose and form look real good. The only thing is the legs should be a bit more muscular and the calves should be more fuller. I'm not saying it should be some fat disgusting looking legs like they just came out of a 2 Live Crew video. I'm talking more muscular sprinter or soccer player type legs and not marathon runner legs. Not a lot just a little bit more meat and tone that's all. Cause right now it looks like Cammy has her beat in booty and legs dept when it should be the other way around.

The sculpt has almost the entire leg touching the thigh with what looks to me almost a 180' bent.

People do buy statues just to be a completist, even in the felicia thread there was atleast one person saying they were getting her just because she was part of the line, then being blown away by her once they actually received it. It's the way sideshow releases it's Star Wars PF's to keep interest alive

I'm inclined to agree with this. Don't want that "monstrous" look (:hilarious:), but I think the legs could be a little more filled out. Thighs a little more thick, and toned (as the above poster put it), and calves curving out a little more too. Shapely... a la vida guerra? That is 1 thing I wanted to see done with chun-li especially. Chun-li should have powerful (not fat, but firm ;)) legs. Pose is great (ie. graceful hand posture), but I do think by adding more "shape" to chun-li it would help give the sculpt that essence which this line carries. ie. ken, ryu, akuma, vega etc are all oozing with essence (all of them with the crazy musculature - ryu, akuma, ken because of their sheer mass, vega with the lean). Chun-li should be to Cammy what the others are like to Vega in this line so far - crazy definition, but that little more "meat" she needs to stand out from petite Cammy, giving her that essence.

Hey Ryu, that is a really nice dynamic pose! I like it a lot! Would make a perfect PF.

I'll definately buy all 12 chars from SF2, concerning the others the best are already out, like Akuma and Cammy, maybe I would also buy Ibuki, Rolento, Gouken and maybe 1-2 others. I won't be a completist if all would ever be made. If the 1/4 line ends at some point with a banger (like Sagat) it would be perfect and the line will become legendary.

i'm with you - I got to go classic qipao on this one. Alpha will look great, no doubt a stunning PF candidate -but personally I hope to stick with the Chun i remember from waaay back. Regular meets the requirements for me on this one!

couldn't have said it better! Even though the ES of Chun Li is going to be larger, its still probably guaranteed to sell out, regardless of which version.

I think the interesting thing about Chun-li is both versions are perfectly designed to really work and stand out strongly as PFs. a lot of great costuming to work with on both. I wouldn't be at all surprised if both maintain 'classic' status long after release.

I agreed. Excellent sculpt but just need some more nalgas and muscle on the legs. Just a little more where she stays athletic and not some fat ass or looks like Chyna the wrestler.

By the way I was at WonderCon in San Francisco and here are some pics of Chun Li, Cammy and Ryu. I know the pics are awful but I am going to get a much better camera next week. This way I can do my collectibles, cosplayers and the butts some justice.
