guys,
It's getting old having to tell members to learn not to take posts so personal. I am not going to tolerate, as well as the mods, personal jabs at other members because they don't agree with your point. Threads are made so you can have a debate. That means everyone will not see your point or agree with you. Yes, you will wonder how some can be so blind but many will wonder the same about you. Learn that there is more to life than statues, movies and comics. Sometimes I sit in disbelief how some members can take opinions so much to heart. Who really cares if someone likes or dislikes Bowen statues. You think BD is going to loose sleep over it? So what if someone else thought the new SW film deserves every Oscar and is the best movie of all time. You might think it's the worst ever but will their opinion change your way of life? So another member thinks Bugs Bunny can crush Wolverine. And what? Is Marvel going to collapse because of that? Has George Lucas called any of you to personally thank you for your support? I think not. So let it go. Love, hate it or don't care about it but don't be bashing others because they don't see it the way you do. I think it would be pretty boring if on every thread everyone had the same opinion.
That being said, personal jabs and strong profanity thrown at members for having a different opinion will not be tolerated. This is something that has been mentioned before but it will stop now.
We do not want to see this any longer. A few have been read the last week and something will be done about it. It gets old fast. At the same time, threats to mods regardless of your thoughts will never be tolerated as well. You have a problem, pm a mod first. Wait for you answer and the take an action but sending a question with a threat will not fly now or ever.
Any questions, feel free to PM me or any mod.

I know I've crossed the line a few times and had some posts deleted, and I deserved it. If I hurt anyone's feelings, I'm sorry, and I'm also sorry for making the mods jobs harder or more annoying.

Sincerely, as cheesy and cliched as it sounds, I am going to talk about comics and statues and nerdom in general and not get into picking on anyone or making any personal attacks. It's honestly a waste of time and energy, and trust me, being a married guy I get into enough stupid tiffs every day.

I'm surprised I haven't noticed this thread until now. Well said, Danny.

Unfortunately it is particularly timely this week.

I have been on the since about Dec on 05, and I just read this today. I think drod's thread should be at the top of every section so everyone remembers what we are here for, and to think twice before going postal on some one.
Thanks for listening ;)
