Thanks!

This dio came in 12 pieces. I strongly suggest people take pics of the piece while still in the box because it was one heck of a challenge putting everything back in there!

I saw this at a local comic shop, and it's far more impressive in person than in photos. The "action" is far more evident when viewing it in this manner. Congrats to those who own it. It is a great dio!

What's particularly tough about dynamic pieces like this is choosing what position to display it in. There's something cool to see on all sides.

You're be very happy with it. It's essentially 4 statues in one. Just don't forget to take pics of the statue still in the box.
It was quite the experience putting everything back in the box once I was done taking pics!

Got mine this week, gotta say I was a tiny bit disappointed, mainly in that many of the pieces don't slot together quite flush, and seem quite loose in their slots, something which is always a bit of a bugbear to me. It's still a nice piece, I'm still glad to have it, but I wasn't as impressed by it as I had hoped.

That said the Predator especially does look very nice in this, and both head sculpts and paint ups are very nice indeed. If yours is anything like mine then just remember to be careful if you put this together and ever have to move it...

i dont have a single complaint about mine. it was larger than expected. all the pieces fit perfectly and it is a visual feast. luckily i didnt have to disassemble it. once out it stays out. but if anyone is an avp fan and not sure about getting it...i say go for it. you wont be disappointed in my opinion.

I prefer the unmasked dio set up, though the masked set up looks good too.
It's a great exclusive add-on

Hello everybody I am new here here! Guys I have a question. I am new at statue collecting and this is why I am asking this. I just bought the AvPR diorama. It is a stunning piece and I am totally blown away buy it. However I bought this from a collector throughout Ebay. There are a few paint issues with mine. Mainly the problem presents where the parts of the dio are meet with each other (Alien and Predator legs etc.). At these places there are minor damages on the statue's paint. Is this normal at these dioramas? Is the paint can be damaged easily by setting things appart for example? Are there similar problems at your diorama pieces?

Hmmm... It sounds like you bought a displayed piece. Sadly, there are collectors out there who are all thumbs and aren't quite as gentle as they should be when it comes to assembling these fragile pieces.

It was displayed yes and I asked the seller about paint issues, damages or anything, but the seller said it is absolutely in perfect condition, but clearly it is not. It is annoying to me because I don't like damages on my statues. I have a friend who is a modeler and I hope he can fix these areas for me and it will look perfect after that I hope.

I agree with you. Unfortunately this piece is a bit complicated to assemble and has multiple polystone on polystone contact points. The one you bought must have been either assembled carelessly or been broken down and reassembled a few times.

It is one of Sideshow's best diorama IMO and I will never sell this. There are not many alien, pred dio out there which are that good. Sadly I have the regular edition only, but I hope someday my friend will want to sell his ex lol.

wow didn't thnk it was going that high, it really is an awesome piece was even second chance for awhile too, I would be tempted to sell if it goes higher, as in my collection it is a little on the smaller side, don't have too many dios, more 1/5, 1/4 1/2 and 1/1 pieces
