I know its an old game, but my mum bought a new laptop so i was finally able to buy Sim City 4. I was up till 3.30am playing it, so today has not been too productive in work! I also bought medieval total war and railroad tycoon 3, so theres plenty to get my teeth into-the manuals alone should take hours to read! Can anyone recommend other good, slightly older PC games that wont tax a laptop? P4 3.2ghz, 512mb ram, 64mb ati radeon

Try Magesty Gold Edition. It's cheap and a great strategy game with a fantasy twist to it. I really enjoyed it and look forward to the sequel.

Also, one of my all time favorite "city-type building sim" is Caeser III. It's a great sim with some historical flavor. It now comes in a cheap multi-game package along with Pharaoh.

Hours and hours of up all night gaming!
