Something a little different: The Stretchbaldy Collection

I have not posted on this forum in awhile since I stopped collecting Cinemaquettes really....but figured what the heck since the stuff that I collect is by one of the best sculptors/creature designers out there....Jordu Schell. Jordu is a creature designer for film and some of his most recent work includes designing the navi for the film Avatar. Jordu has been my favorite artist for years and I love adding new creations of his to my collection whenever I can. All of the stuff in the photos below are lifesize and the pieces get pretty big.....I wish I had more space.....hopefully someday!

Cobblepot, The Leprechaun is a one of a kind original design that Jordu wanted to make. As far as I know it was never in any tv shows or anything. Same thing goes for the Clank. As a matter of fact all of the pieces in my collection are original designs....not made for any specific films just designs that Jordu wanted to create.

Your guys are much too kind. Larry (gkasylum) has a stellar collection and I can only aspire to have a collection that great someday. His collection is the stuff dreams are made of.

There are MANY incredible collections here and they are presented so beautifully. I often come to this site for inspiration on how to display my stuff and photograph it. Man, there are some fantastic and knowledgeable photographers here!

Some of the collection rooms here are crazy...like mini museums! I love those types of displays. I just wish I had more space...... Some day.

Astonishing collection my dude, I've always been a fan of Jordu's work. But you must be loaded because some of these pieces run for some SERIOUS money lol. The Ixana mask in your collection alone runs for 5 grand! I would love to add some of his masks to my collection one day.

I have seen all these at conventions when jordu attends and have to say that although they look awesome in the pics , they REALLY are AMAZING in person , your collection is just SUPER AMAZING. and well displayed congratulations on all these wonderful pieces , will you be planning on getting his Peter cushion bust ? I know it is not a creepy looking one but boy it sure is an unbelievable likeness as if the head was cut off , it's so real

Yes I've seen your collection over on the CM board. Love your Steve Wang stuff. I also collected CM's a few years ago. I had Arnie, Endo, Alien, Aragorn... then I sold them to buy more for the Jordu collection as I prefer the original monster designs.

What a marvelous collection you have there friend. After looking through the pages you have posted I must admit these pieces have caught my interest. The attention to detail is unlike anything I've ever seen in a bust. A new line im willing to start a collection for.

I've gone ahead and ordered Phaedron, as its the most eye catching piece to me. The paint app is amazing, I cant believe how life like it seems.

I want to thank you for posting pics of your collection, as it may have inspired a new focus for my personal collection.
