Thanks, that is the one thing my wife wanted is that it isn't so bunched together. I am glad I have that extra room, because I will end up getting more and some things got to move out, the b-listers I guess I should call them.

Luckily this house is equipped with large closets, but that one is almost full, and doesn't include the predalien or queen facehugger, decided I won't ever sell the Leia so ended up tossing the box, that one came inside a box for a large refrigerator!

I have a pretty decent size garage, but didn't want a bunch of boxes in there, that is another project I have to do, my workbench!

I put two bestas together, got the idea when I went to an office depot...or staples. Worked out perfectly!! the bottom is just a glossy drawer at ikea.

I still want to paint all the holes black, it bugs me, especially when I look at pics.

Yep that is snake eyes, it was done by pallisades, a really great bust, not quite 1:1 like sideshows pieces but worthy.

The only downfall on this is that it is really starting to flake around the edges, and the pores are very deep it is hard to keep clean. I am planning to repaint it with a darker look, and not so blue.

I used to work in the WB Gallery as a supervisor, one of my funnest jobs ever, I was REALLY into animation art and had a good 40 pieces of art, and dozens of cartoon statues, but unfortunetly alot of things had to go.

I had a nice discount too! Every few months we would have employee sales and got 50-60% off sometimes, when the stores started to go into liquidation we got 80-90% off stuff! It was great!

Just got this, really like it Suzette by Dean Yeagle, love Dean's work (Very nice guy too, and his wife Barbara) and hope to see more statues based on his work.

I like really big statues, so this comes in a little small for me, but still love it. I think it is 10 1/2", price is high, considering I got some of SS's ladies for the same price. Still....didn't want to pass this up, since his last statue Mandy is going for a decent amount.

Thanks, I wish I still had my vintage stuff still, but this will have to do for now, and not into paying the prices they are going for nowadays.

I like Ikea...but definitely start looking into other stores as well...furniture is so expensive and Ikea makes it so cheap and hard to resist.


I will get some close-ups today...it was made by Palisades looks alot more blue in the photos than he really is, but I still want to repaint it darker, plus the paint is flaking on the chest/cut off part.

Yeah, I know! And that was a 4-5 years ago, before I really got into the larger statues, I had many Lifesized busts, but those prices were justified.

I laughed at him when I first asked for the pricing of the figures, he wanted around $200 for most, but I got in a bidding war with a couple people, still don't regret it, it really is a cool figure, very well done.

That is a pax from ikea, $100, the shelves are $25 for 2 wood, and $25 for 1 glass, will eventually switch out for all glass, the wood is starting to warp, not because of the weight, I think because of the humidity during summer.

Best price for the size, very sturdy and heavy cabinets, and of course are REALLY big, will definitely be be picking up more.

"Clay said that he thinks they only did 7 or 8 of them and the original price was $800-$1,000. That’s all he remembers though. "

and in process of selling some more, honestly the first 3-4 were difficult but then it became very liberating and easy to do, I then realized that I don't need to get everything that just looks cool, and am now really focusing on what I will really love.

Yeah I am pretty happy, for the most part the pieces I did sell either there has been something better, or there will be something better, mostly the AH pieces, with the exception of mystique, either was replaced with something out like the she hulk, or something better coming out like Rogue or something I hope will better like Mary jane. Others just didn't really fit in with me, I don't need the entire collection of street fighter statues, just the main ones I like, like Guile Chun Li and maybe one day again vega.

Also just wanting something main from each series is cool too.

Maybe not as high priority? I have been wanting a Baroness for so long, I almost had a couple commissioned throughout the years, than a few years ago I heard a rumor from a SS rep that they had the license for statues (when Snake Eyes 12" was previewed at sdcc) so I waited, and 2-3 years later...still waiting on the PF of anybody, would have preferred Baroness 1st, but I understand the reasoning behind it. They previewed the SE maquette too, where the hell is that? Hopefully they will start getting these lines moving, maybe the lack of sales? That is what worries me most.

I got it less than a year ago for that price, I looked a few months ago and it was around $200-$300 on average, not sure what the going rate is now. bigger than a 1:4 scale statue too 21 1/2" with base 23 1/2"...just be careful of the glitter, can get everywhere if handled too roughly.
