If that is indeed Toybiz, that doesn't seem right.

Maybe they should be trying to get the product out in a timely manner, instead of setting up an Ebay account.

It seems strange, the information I have discovered.
Diamond offered series 1 back in February (can't find my issue though, and Diamond's website has no detailed info).
Diamond is now offering series 3 (with Venom, but Venom is series 1 - ??? :inquisiti ), but not series 2.
Toybiz website only mentions series 1.

Dark Phoenix is Laroca it was the Spash to an Uncanny X-Men Issue. I think it was 381 or 387. The Mystique was the cover to X-Men Forever #2, I think it was Maguire art.

I bought a few of these and got them tuesday. I posted some pics and a little review at a few places:

These are definately cool in thier own little way...especially if you like little dio displays. The green goblin is easily my fav of the 2. I guess there's 20 of them in the first series, and 12 of them are "mystery figures"(AKA blind packaged). I'm anxious to hear who they are. They are actually pretty detailed given thier size. Only complaint is the directions are kind hard to understand...especially for Wolverine's. I'll definately be getting more of these, though not all of them.

I also found out that of the 12 myster sets, 8 are repaints of the sets that are known, and 4 of them are new characters(1 has been confirmed to be Captain America).

not sure what I'm going to do with the cards yet. Ironically, I got a punisher card in both of the sets I won LOL!

As far as the figs go. I think they're cool. They make nice little dioramas. The green goblin is REALLY cool IMO. Wolvie is alright. I have one of the mystery figures on the way now, so I'll be sure and post pics when I get it.

Got my mystery set today. It was a Gray Hulk repaint o fthe green hulk set. I'm not a huge hulk fan(even less of a gray hulk fan), so I'm just going to keep it bagged and trade it later hopefully.

Those are just for gameplay...there's nothing really collectible about those. Also found out what most of the fig factory mystery sets are:

4 Unique Characters:
Daredevil (Red)
Storm (Black)
Human Torch
Captain America (Ultimate)

8 Variants:
Daredevil Yellow
Storm White
Human Torch- Johnny Storm head
Brown Wolverine
Black Spider-Man
Grey Hulk
Dr. Ock w/white coat

I *THINK* the last one is Ultimate Cap, but not 100% on that.

Are you sure? There's no character pic on them? Dang, I think they're being promoted as a joint effort between ToyBiz and Upper Deck....just assumed they were collectible since UD was involved.

UD is involved, but I;m pretty sure they're just game play cards(tiles for different "locations" to battle and then the actual game play cards). there is art and stuff on them, but nothing really collectable about them. I'll double check when I get home though.
If it's Marvel art on cardboard, then it's collectible, and will be going into one of my Marvel card albums. :eplus2:

cool. LMK whenever you get them then. I bought 3 of the mysteries yesterday and got Cap(one of the 4 I wanted), gray hulk, and human torch w/johnny storm head. Hoping to sell hulk, and i traded Johnny Torch for a fully flamed torch, so I only want the red Daredevil and possibly white costume storm. At this point it wouldn't be worth it to keep buying them to just chance getting the ones I want.

the cards with figure factory are just normal size trading cards. Only SHS has the square tiles. I got Ghost Rider today and the cards he comes with are pretty cool. Nice pics of him(most have been seen in various places though), but still cool.

Not sure about diamond, it's pretty much a guessing game with them. I got ML 6 and 7 from them before retail even got them, but with series 8, I got it a month after retail and series 9 like 2-3 months after retail.

They are sold in a stupid fashion. They should either sell them all in blind packaging (mystery), or all in identifiable packaging. What happens is all the mystery ones sell out right away, leaving retailers with nothing but the known ones. Then they won't restock them because there are a ton of Thing, Doc Ock, Iron Man etc. left on the pegs... Just my opinion :)

I do agree, though, these are very nice. I collect Japanese candy toys, and these remind me of them a lot.

I have 7 of the mystery figs so far with no dupes. Knock on wood that my luck continues.

Did you know that on the sides of the Mystery figure packages it says build this piece then tells you whos in there. I found wolvie without the mask, doc ock with white shirt and grey hulk. All have the figures pic on the side...

My friend found some at his PX on base for $4.50. Got a red DD out of it. I don't know if it was posted here, but someone cracked how to figure out what mystery figures you're buying:

"A = Unmasked Spidey
B = Doc Ock with Lab Coat
C = Grey Hulk
D = Unmasked Wolvie
E = Unmasked Venom
F = Captain America
G = Red Daredevil
H = Yellow Daredevil
I = Human Torch (Reg)
K = Unmasked Human Torch
L = Storm (White)
M = Storm (Mohawk, black)

letters can be found at the back of the card, just below hulks picture."

Still check there CK. Mine did the same, but they put a rack up again when they get them in again. Must be a delay between shipments tho.

Well I just scored...My TRU had a bunch on the rack. Mostly Thing and Spider-Man, but I did pick up Wolverine, Green Goblin, and 5 (yes 5!) mystery figures. I'll be opening them later, but I was a happy camper. Patience pays off yet again...
