I just found this on ebay... I know many are interested. 4 hours left...sorry I didn't come accross it sooner.:batman:

Yes it went for alot, but some people like myself consider Arh's Batman to be one of the best Batman statues ever made. This statue being on ebay is very rare, the last one I saw was about 1 year ago. Some of us have been hunting this statue for a while now, and have been able to save for it a little longer. The seller is a forum member to some of the statue forums. It comes down to how bad do you really want something and how deep in your pockets are you willing to dig. Just so happened the winners pockets were deeper than mine. If the winner is a forum member from here "REVEAL YOURSELF AND DIE WITH HONOR"

I emailed the seller and he said this one was a kit not one of the 50 prepaints. That price seems pretty high for the kit version.

Considering that the kits were sold for $150, that's a great profit.

I do think this Batman is one of the best ever made.

I bought the pre-painted version of this statue over a year ago and had no idea that they were going for this much on ebay. It is a great statue!

Actually, it was neither a kit nor one of the numbered 50 prepaints, but it was a special prepaint made after the original 50. It is identical to the numbered ones except it doesn't have a number (confirmed via the seller and ARH as well).

Oh yeah, I am a new forum member (found the forum originally researching this very statue) and am also the winner of the auction, in case anyone was wondering. :)

You got one of my favorite statues of all the ones I have sculpted.

I lost mine in the fire along with the master and the original molds. Those 50 outthere are all that's left!

I would think seriously about selling mine if money became a real issue and I hope it never gets there.
I really like the idea that I have one of only 50 made.
I have a different Batman and Superman from him and think all 3 are awesome.

I would love to get a hold of an ARH Utlimate Batman but its just out of my price range and to rare.

As well you should. If I recall I believe it was only listed for a few hours before it was bought. So it definitely has potential. That should only grow when the movie comes out.

I was in the first groups for both Classic and Modern so to see it already go up in value thats just awesome. I have #1 for modern and #2 for Classic.

I had the listing under my watched items so I could keep track, and also not lose track if they pull it. The Ultimate Batman as well as the Ultimate Superman are both seperately listed as having sold for $500 each as buy it now items. I didn't think the seller put a buy it now option on these. The Ultimate Wonder Woman is still going and has one bid so far at $200.

Guys,

I want to politely ask you all to drop this subject here on ARH section.

I know it's cool and we all love the statues I did in the past, but it has nothing to do with ARH Inc. and this section is about ARH Inc. and the new stuff we are producing.

So, I please ask you guys to refrain from posting about our old stuff in here again.

those old kits have no licenses, and it always brings some discomfort to the Forum and producers around that pay big money for their licenses.

I honestly hope you guys don't get me wrong and understand my point about this subject.
