Hey everyone,
I just got back from Wonderfest, which was held in Louisville KY this past weekend. I had a great time hanging with some great people, and drooling over the great kits!
Some pics are starting to pour in - here's a few links if anyone is interested:

A great time was had by all.
Maybe Rick will share the "bridge story" - it involves a shirtless hillbilly....

Hopefully I avoided any such pics....but in the Crown Royal induced haze I found myself in, anything is possible!
Why Phil, you mean the, Ron "Lost Boy" Sherwood story? Mr. Mapquest?? :eplus2:

I think I escaped without being captured on film (whew!)
Why Rick - yes, that IS the story. A fun little adventure, was it not?

Bullseye - not sure if anyone took pics of just the contest winners. I know the Wonderfest site usually posts the winners at a later date, but it's just a list, no pics :(

The story to which Phil refers has to do w/ dinner on Sat. night. Ron Sherwood (Shur Would here on the forum) somes pounding up the stairs into the contest room to tell me where they are going for dinner. After giving me these instructions ; "Go right out of the hotel....then under the bridge.....stay on the road until it "T"s, go right for about 10 miles, and the "BuckHorn" is on the right. Can't miss it!", he turns and bolts out of the room.
After gathering the rest of the crew, we pile into the van and head out, being followed by Karl ("K" on the forum) and his neice Drea. Well, we followed Ron's instructions, but there was NO bridge to be found! (Where is that confounded bridge?!!). Sooooo we stay on the road thinking we'll hit it at some point......but after driving through no man's land, we come to where the road "T"s. However, when we saw the semi naked hillbilly passed out in his chair on the porch, we knew we weren't in Kansas anymore. Just as soon as the opening strains of "Dueling Banjos" started playing in my head, we turned to run! My friend Mike uses his cell phone to try and call information, but the only "BuckHorn" is a family protective services organization....Suffice to say we never did find that damn restaurant, because the name was in reality, "BuckHEAD".
I promptly wore Mr. Ron "Mapquest" Sherwood out as soon as I saw him in the hotel bar.

With a van full of Painmasters one of you should have run out and quickly painted some clothes on Jethro.
