So who scheduled their con first? Two comic conventions in NYC within a week of each other?

NYCC were first, then Shamus announced that Big Apple would run THE SAME WEEKEND, then they decided to move it to one week before :banghead:

How does that make any sense? Doesn't that just take away money from both cons?

Exactly... but I think the Big Crapple will suffer more... I live here and am not going to that crap fest... :D

NYCC was first, Wizard thought they could topple the giant that is NYCC, they were wrong so they caved and moved the date.

What sucks is Wizard cancelled the NJ show that was like 5 mins from my house. :(

There's a lot more room in the NJ convention center.

I just looked on Wizards site... they already have another one of these crapfests scheduled for May 21-23....

So they're not doing the Big Apple at the pier anymore? That was a much bigger venue than the old Modell's location lol
