Alternate Universe meeting Sat, Aug 21, 2010 - Burbank, CA
Alternate Universe, the only model club for all things SciFi, Fantasy and Horror will be holding it's August meeting at the Olive Recreation Center, 1111 West Olive Ave. Burbank, CA. The meeting will be held in meeting room 4 on Saturday, August 21, 2010. The time is from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
For August, we will be having a demo on easy split molds for casting. Also we will be have our first true swap meet. If you have any kits or figures you want to trade or swap now is your chance.
Best parking is behind the Recreation Center off Clark Street, so come early. Remember our starting time is 9:30 am
Admission is free and the meetings fun. Alternate Universe has no membership dues, We only accept donations to help cover room and refreshment costs. Our goal is to promote the hobby of SciFi, Fantasy and Horror modeling.
Bring your a finished project. Bring a friend, join the fun with our group builds. Some of our members have said this gives them the time to work on their projects they can do otherwise.
If you have any kits or figures you would like to donate to the club for our door prizes, they will be welcome. Thanks
