hey guys just looking for a little advice

ive just finished makeing 3 individual wolverine claws and im looking to make a silicone mould and then start casting them in resin

the claws are made from wood my questions are

what is the best way to mould them because there so thin as they get closer to the tip a two part cast or an all in one cast i would tend to favour an all in one cast but would they slip free from the mould without damage?

ive watched some you tube to learn casting as im quite new to it all

any tips from you guys would be great i know its not sculpting persay but i did sculpt it from wood so its a technicality here :P

Are these claws full scale, 1/2, 1/6 or microscopic? it makes a difference. What silicone are you using? Is it very pliable or stiff? Have you sealed the wood? What kind of wood is it? How many casts do you want and for what purpose? Do you care if the originals are harmed in the process?

BTW if you made them from wood, technically they are carved IMHO.
