KI is dead. MK and Thundercats are both owned by the same company, WB, and each have their upcoming reboots. KI would involve talking to Rare (Microsoft?) and I just don't see it happening.

Can you imagine having these kind of bosses lined up next to each other.. shao kahn, goro, motaro.. what a bad-ass display that would be :D .. and then sub-zero, scorpion, raiden etc.. I can safely say this would be my fave line, I love SF, but MK just has that mystical element/essence going on..

I have all the time in the world for both MK and SF lines.. but I have been waiting years for MK to get proper treatment.. after seeing what was/is being done with SF it's safe to say that PCS can do this line justice.. and there is definitely a market for it.. a small example, but those jazwares figures made a couple years back that were sold for around $10 at the time go from anywhere between $40-$90 each now..

BTW I voted:

Scorpion - fave MK character
Raiden - I think it would be really cool to see this get made (and truth is I know subs would have to come out at some point to accompany scorp :P)
Goro - would be HUGE!! - and I want to see PCS top the 1:6 statue made quite a few yrs ago (still think thats a sick piece)

But I'd also like to see Kitana and Mileena, when it comes to female chars from vs. games MK has my fave actually

If you do it Jerry, please make it more realistic and you really have to up the quality of the production pieces and better the current SF line.

Personally with your touch, and Sideshow's "quality" production, if ever the MK line becomes reality, it would be killer. I am a huge fan of yours but after getting Cammy and Morrigan, I had to stop because I just didn't "feel" it, as much as I wanted to.

The problem is that most if not all the characters to me are visually splendid (except Striker). But if you were going to start the MK line, you need to start out with a bang!

Goro, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden, Shang Tsung, Shao Khan, Liu Kang, and Kung Lao are all big hitters in MK! So whatever you choose, I feel it should start there.

Once any of those first three are done, then you can go to Johnny Cage, Kano, Sonya, Kitana, Baraka et. al.

Unique bases for me! They give you a chance to capture some of that gritty MK universe. Plus, I think MK needs all the help it can get to impress. SF can get away with plain bases.

But black bases with the MK dragon are just as swell.

Unique bases would be cool although I would also dig on black bases w/ the MK dragon.

Yeah I think black base so it's similar to SF (they still look classy as, and the base doesn't divert your attention from the statue), but with the MK logo to differentiate them (plus that logo rocks).. I would however do a light engrave of the logo or maybe a grey-tone as if you chose the original color the red and yellow would just look a little cheap and tacky..

Here's the thing.. we're not talking about a one-off PF here.. you go too eccentric with the bases and make them all look different (in the same line) that's when they start to look like toys IMO.. thing I liked with your SF statues is the actual 1:4 piece is where all the style is, and the standardized bases accentuate that

When it comes to the bad-ass dios you'll have to eventually do (lol), hell yes, go to town on those bases

i like the plain SF type bases actually, i know MK is a different beast all together, but would still give them a nice uniform look so they could be displayed together.

I am kind of disappointed that the brother of Quan Chi, KRATOS!!! is not on the list he should be done with a Mix Media touch after all he is the main reason people will be picking up The new Mortal Kombat game on the playstation over xbox 360 smh.. It really dosent mather if Jerry starts with Scorpion or Sub-Zero as both will sell out so fast.

I would however prefer on the base, a more individually base if it is possible.

I would also prefer Subby to me molded after the MK game SHaolin Monks if you are thinking of having him as a ninja.

It is alot of diffrence between ninja Subby and Grandmaster Subby.

The Sub and Scorp 10" figures from Toy Island were actually pretty cool. I still own this one, as it is the best Scorpion currently available. Looking at Scorp right now...cannot believe it has been around 10 years since I picked it up. Sure is time for some new MK pieces!

honestly i don't care one way or the other, Scorpion is more then likely the only of the ninjas i'd buy anyway, and i'll more then likely display him with his alternate skull head (which lets be honest if theres a scorpion there will be a skull head) so how the other ninjas look doesn't mean much to me

I voted Scorpion, Sub, and Mileena. My other two choices would be Raiden and Reptile.

As a big MK fan I only have so much space to show my love. Thus the original ninjas are by far my favorite characters. Followed by Raiden, Goro, since the character designs are so awesome and the sexy girls Mileena and Kitana.

I wouldn't have much interest in the likes of Liu, Johnny, Kano, Sonya, etc. The characters themselves are cool, but the design are rather boring.

I have talked to the Man about the NINJA Gaiden license and while there isn't enough interest right now to warrant a statue line. Maybe if the script for the 3 part movie gets picked up, he will reconsider the license.

the plain and simple fact is that most people remember and appreciate the mk1-3 era, why do you think they are making this new game based on mk 1-3? because that is the ICONIC mk era, after that the costumes changed every game, what subzero costume do you want per say? Deadly alliance primary? Deadly alliance alt? deception primary? Deception alternate? MK vs DC primary?? Just too many costumes and none of them iconic. SF is so popular, and I think its mainly because they kept it classic, would you want a ryu with techno armor and arm bands??

Here is the problem with the new costumes. People want a MK statue to represent the version that made the series what it is today. You want to look at the statue and feel the character you loved from the MK games. Most MK fans agree the series died after Ultimate MK3. Anything after that was pretty much garbage. The new game looks promising but this is a new age of video games and it could never be as popular as the original MK games.

That is why most of us want the classic costumes. We want a representation of the characters we grew to love so much. Not a newer designed version of them that has no meaning like the original versions.

Pretty simple to understand IMO and I really hope Jerry realizes this.

It's like if they made a remake of Star Wars. Who would buy a statue version of the newly cast Han Solo over the Harrison Ford version of it? See what I mean?

They've released so many new videos on the new MK game, I'm amped up for this game.. It seems like its going to rival streetfighter for the first time in years.. they're really going all out on it ie: in terms of modes (arcade - but 14hrs of arcade time (to beat it) or something crazy like that, tag mode, challenge mode [300 "whacky" challenges which are v. different to the arcade version ie. limbless, might, shooting round), etc), design of characters/stages, a proper story for each of the characters, hiring "elite" :p hardcore gamers to play it and tweak and demand even mre from it, gore/fatalities, being pasisonate and listening to fan's desires ie. 2d fighting style

But - there is always worry with games that have this much hype behind it. They've released enough videos now though, i've seen enough to see it's quality :D

It's going to be awesome. The demo came out yesterday for PS+ members (next Tuesday for all PS3) and I have read nothing but good stuff from those that are playing it.
