Again, I thank you guys for stopping by and humoring a brother:)

To fill in a few of the blanks and answer some questions about these. These are SLIGHTLY larger than 1/4 scale. They aren't for anything specifically except to sculpt some Spidey villain portraits as business cards. These are something I am doing to showcase myself and carry them through in my own vision as a Spider-man fan.

These are the first 3 with more to come in waves down the line between projects. These that you see are still rough and will be taken to completion with as much detail as possible.

At the end they'll be cast in a nice, gray, uniform resin.

Great sculpts as always.

The reptile eyes on the Rhino is a bit weird, but other than that Best Rhino ever! When people sculpt Rhino they always go for the stupid look for him. But you made him dangerous Keith. The way he should be.

1/4 and make it Sideshow Collectibles.

I'm curious what you come up with for The lizard, Venom and Green Goblin if or when you continue on the Spidy villains.

The reptile eyes on the Rhino is a bit weird

I understand how you would see it this way in looking at these pics... but he does not have reptile eyes... he's just looking off to the left and those lines are marking the iris off... just no pupils in there yet...

I was thinking about wave 2... there are tons of characters that would rock... I think Electro, Lizard, Doc Ock were loosely planned as next... depending on my inspiration :)

Comic Con was sweet. Taking the busts to show people was a very good idea. Now time will tell on whether that will convert to work. Wish me luck:)

My mentality in the business is that every great sculpt starts with a well sculpted portrait... if the portrait doesn't look good, then I don't care how awesome the anatomy is, the detail level, the techniques used, the sculpt will not garner the proper attention.

you definately do some of the best portraits in sculpting. . the wrecking crew faces for example look so realistic.. the expressions are perfect too.. love to see your take on some x-men someday
