Not a huge fan of the fantasy genre, but I might consider getting it. It's a lovely piece :)

Here's a video review of my Luna PVC statue by Yamato USA based on the art of Dorean Cleavenger.

Thank you for the review SH75. I look to pick this up sometime next year. An immediate observation is the paint application. It looks good and not as much of a disparity from the prototype that PVC Ritual is suffering.

I agree with you on that statment Vallos. I just picked her up because "StatueHunter75" was able to do such a great review on this piece. Not only that, but I think Hunter75 did a great job on focusing on her face. Which able me to see the paint application on the face as well. Great work Hunter75!!

One big difference I just noticed - the "world" base is not rounded, but flat. I am actually pleased that it looks better flat.

Saw Statuehunter's video of her, she looks good. I just wish the head sculpt (face and hair) would have been closer to the artwork. Otherwise everything else is nicely done.

On one hand, the sculptor understood that you can't make a good-looking mass-produced PVC with a realistic face, and opted for a comics style. On the other hand.. judging from the pics I wouldn't buy it.

They should try to go further & go for an anime style. Anime style works much better for PVCs. The face on japanese anime figures is always the strong point.

Here's pictures of my Luna.

I think she looks amazing, especially love the way her face came out.

The emotion of the artwork is completely lost in translation. The angles, the alluring look, the feel of the moment are all wrong. This falls flat in comparison to the original painting. A dead, boring, tittilation-fest at best.
