My only gribble is why does Cleopatra looks better then mine? Her skin tone is a lot lighter and the eye shadows are different too. I also like that turqoise blue highlights instead of the red crimson color! :bawling:

This Cleopatra is the regular edition made in China. It will be up for orders next week.

The funny is that the lighter color skin was actually a mistake made by Jim Rowel when painting her. I wanted her to be dark as the AP, but we ended up getting a different color.

At the end, I think it's just fine since we now have two different versions! :thumbs2:

My only criticism is maybe, maybe, the base could be a better color, one that is more interesting, like a warm grey or a tan, but clearly nobody is going to be caring about the base whatever color it is, because the Thor is so cool.

I love the statue but was thinking I wouldn't mind seeing some other colors as well, although I don't know which ones or where. What were you thinking as far as color scheme goes?

You would imagine alot less. Painting something up this big would cost well over $600. A Bowen scaled piece costs between $350-$400 to have painted.

Kits will not be half off! Our kits are high quality and solid w/ cape. And they are clean and ready for paint. You get what you pay for.

We only sell 10-15 AP, and our total edition sizes could be smaller overall than those sold with a license. So no it does not. Casting costs and the time put for each individual statue is the same or higher since we do it in house with only two talented guys for the AP's.
The reason the companies who have license make a big profit is because they make 1000+ statues at one time.
The more statues on order the better our total costs from factories. Its simple. Thats why Sideshow, BD and others with larger volume get it done easier and much cheaper than guys like us. Granted they have fees and we do not, but they also have much more volume. Dont forget that a Marvel Thor would sell alot more because of the popularity and brand name.

Our goal is to do it righty by giving you a better sculpt for less price without cutting to much into our profits. We are here to make money, there is no denying that. But we are turning around this money and producing even better sculpts the next time around.

AP are usually smaller box. ARH wraps them in bubble wrap on each individual pieces. I think shipping would be cheaper then getting it direct from a distributor.

Eventually I decided to wait to make sure I get a box and also in case they tweak the color scheme a little. I may regret it but as long as I get a Thor that is the main thing. I really like the second hammer option better though.

Let me explain it better.

Sideshow will carry two versions, "Sideshow EX" that ONLY Sideshow will have and the regular edition that EVERYONE will have

The Sideshow EX is still going to be decided by them because we have a few options for that. I'll be calling them tomorrow morning to sort this out and decide which will be the EX version for Sideshow.

Besides that we will have a ARH website exclusive probably limited to ony 50 or 100 max.

We will still decide which one will be the ARH website exclusive, but one thing is for sure.

The APs will have ALL of the above!!!

APs will come with extra hammer and painted as requested, so there is no loss at all in buying an AP.

APs are the best option one can get, besides it's painted by myself, and this alone is something that will stop happening very soon, so those are probably the last APs painted by me since Elciclei will do POcahontas and Athena, and after that APs will be history!!!
