Sterlingclass (ebay ID) a good friend of mine that I met through Aspen Comics and who's also behind some really cool industry projects is selling this awesome Statue sculpted by none other than Dene Mason....
If I had a nack for collecting I'd be all over this...

Now, I hope to become as good with the female form as Dene...he's my hero..among others...

Erick,
If you like Dene's sculpting, you should see his molds. They are ridiculously perfect.

I just picked this up at a LCS. Talk about a statue that has a real HOLY ****! Factor when you see it in person. Definitely a keeper.

I have the statue, but I display it without the alter for the sake of room.

I have it the other way around.. i had her displayed without the base since I got it and just recently put on the base and arc. Looks amazing either way...

It looks really great with the Soulfire and Fathom statue.......the scale is perfect.

Do what you can to get one, it's SO worth it once you see them together, not even the pictures really do them justice.

I may have to bump Fathom up a couple of notches on the priority list so that I can bring these ladies together. But instead of the Aspen variant to Fathom, I'll add my Aphrodite IX. And by the time I get my displays set up, hopefully the Moore Kabuki will be out, and a Moore Witchblade will be in my posession as well. Now that would be one hell of a display! :buttrock:

I have the Moore Witchblade, but didn't think it looked good with the others.

I think the Witchblade definetly fits, but the Red Sonja dosen't. Thanks for posting that pic......it makes me think twice about picking up the Red Sonja. It's a nice statue, but the scale is a little off, and it's much bigger than I thought.

I LOVE the Red Sonja statue, I consider it one of my favorite sculpts, but it's from Hard Hero, not Aspen or Moore Creations so they don't use the same scale.

My problem with the Witchblade is that even though I think C. Moore did a great job with it, there isn't as much of Michael Turner's influence in it as the others (Magdalena excluded of course)

I could be wrong...

why is it so much? it`s not batman someone fill me in.I think there weren't that many produced and no one thought this statue was going to be as awesome as it was, so when everyone saw it first hand it caught them off guard. I can honestly say, that I still haven't seen a picture of the statue that's actually done the piece justice ... you have to see it live to really appreciate what an amazing sculpt it is. Also, it's one of the last statues produced by Moore Creations.

What he said. My #1 criteria with statues is the sculpt, not the character, since I look at these statues as art first, and collectibles second. And, quite frankly, no one does female sculpts like Clay Moore and Dene Mason, and when you combine that with limited availability, prices skyrocket. These are the kind of pieces that will "wow" people who know nothing about comics.

I didn't know squat about The Magdelena until I saw the statue, I bought it, and then sought out the comics. :)

This is the statue that started it all for me. I saw it at Wizard World Chicago one year and it blew me away

I was wowed enough by this post to search out Aspen's site and grabbed Soulfire Grace - it looks amazing. Now I'm on the lookout for this one! -e

I was one of the lucky ones who bought this when it was first released.:thumbs2: If I remember properly the description in previews only talked about her and no mention of the diorama, so when it finally came in to my LCBS there was a HUGE box waiting for me. What a pleasant surprise, so the money spent was even more worth it!:buttrock: This one is DEFINITELY in my top 10 favorite sculpts.

It's not really an AP, but a new sculpt altogether.
