New Superman pic/update!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi guys

Ok ,I made some minor changes to the piece. I softened the smile folds under the eyes ( a bit daunting ,to actually sculpt in silicone on the silicone finished head!) and had a pro photographer shoot him out in daylight (rather than the studio 'werewolf' lighting from before). We didnt have a cityscape so we did it in the mountains to look like the end of first film..but the sun wouldnt play ball so we had to shoot him against greenery.Oh well.Im much happier with the statue and shot.

Bobby..thanks man. As you know this guy is a hard guy to nail, so I know its far from perfect but I am finally Reeve'ed out I think!

As well as being a hard guy to nail ,hes also the most critiqued! Which can pretty annoying as you well know. Internet critics,,gotta hate em.

Had a nice moment yesterday. Richard Donner who directed Christopher Reeve in SUPERMAN THE MOVIE 1978 said my statue was "realistic", "perfect","effin great" but also made him feel somewhat depressed(because it made him miss Christopher).

Reeve lives on in your work my friend. Great tribute to the original superman.

Donner was probably closer to reeve than any other person who has worked with him. He often tears up when speaking of him. You get a real strong impression that donner may have almost viewed him in a son like manner. Getting a compliment from donner like that is probably the best compliment you could hope for mike.
