Who/Whom is/are the artist/s that did the DC Direct JLA and JSA bookends.

And why aren't THEY doing the mini busts?????

Those were GREAT versions of those characters.

I`ll let you know and post pics. Currently have both in "transit" to me. Waited a long time to order them. Hope they are in the end worth it!

The JLA bookends were actually nicer than I thought they would be whereas the JSA were much worse. I was very disappointed with the JSA as they could have been much better. The only problem I have with the JLA is Superman's face, they sclupted a strange expression on his face.

Did you ever get the feeling you should never have gotten out of bed to answer the postage delivery at the door.

Two different sellers, same problem. At least, the one for the JSA bookends tried...double boxed, bubble wrap and paper. Insurance on both for whatever that counts for. The breaks are clean and might be repairable despite the severity. The JLA one really burns me because no effort what-so-ever went into protecting it. Tight bubble wrap taped to it, in a small loose box.

I just e-mailed both, lets see what the responses will be like.

Oh well, I am a strong believer in karma. I hope this seller gets hers!

You know, I probably would have, but these auctions were not up at the time. Was also having a weird problem with his site where my browser wasn't displaying all of the hotlinks to the different sections. Still don't know what that was about? Seems to be working fine now.

One of the seller returned half my money, while the one I suspected would be a problem has yet to respond to my messages.
