Anyone watching?

Is the female lead (co-star) in Warehouse 13 gone this season?

I saw a commercial that alluded to as much.. that would suck; I enjoyed the show as a whole, but her (and the male lead's) chemistry with each other and the rest of the team is what made the show so fun.

I hope it's good. It was created by Zak Penn who wrote Incredible Hulk.

They seem to be keeping it hush hush but I'll bet she comes back.

Hopefully. :)

I just looked at IMDB and they have her down for tonight's epiosode.

I heard they're thinking of a spin off series with HG Wells.

Nice.. good news, Pat. Thanks!

Hahaha.. Wells's character is a trip; Jaime Murray always seems to find whack roles. :) Fun character.

I'll catch Alphas and Warehouse 13 on demand later in the week. I don't know if I'll follow Alphas, we'll see after the pilot episode. Also, no Myka (Joanne Kelly) in Warehouse 13 and I'm leaning towards dropping the show. The quirky punk girl isn't enough for me to watch. At least I don't think so right now.

What I am looking forward to is Haven and the resolution of last season's cliffhanger.

Alphas wasn't bad; hopefully they can milk the concept for a while.

It's good to see that they gave each "Alpha" a weakness.

Oh yeah.. and I guess the female co-lead in Warehouse 13 is indeed back. I didn't see tonight's episode, but I saw the Promos on tv, and she's in them. :)

I ended up watching the Warehouse 13 episode during a snack. They showed a quick shot of Myka during the opening. So it was a bit obvious that she was coming back. Also four words - Myka as hot librarian. There was a Jaime Murray cameo too. I hope this season will be worth owning.

I'll catch Alphas later.

The guy who plays her partner is on Facebook and he's been posting pics from the set and I'm pretty sure I've seen her in a couple of them.

It was okay given that it was the initial set up episode. I will give it a few more episodes to see if it gels.

It has one thing going for it: it can't be worse than "The Cape".

I watched the first two Alphas episodes. So so for me. All the characters seem pretty bland. I wonder if the show has the budget for the payoff that they are suggesting with the Alphas.

I'm enjoying Alphas, but I don't see how the current premise can last? They are gonna need to develop the subplot that began in ep 2 I think....

David Strathairn's involvement in this brings instant cred :buttrock:

Falling Skies was really strong. Alphas' best episode was the most recent one. Maybe the mystery in a small town did it. The leader in the vintage car (MG I think) was cool. Both female characters were pretty hot this episode too. Gary kicked butt and is now my favorite character. So many great scenes with him. Breakfast scene, stuff in the school, and taking the jacket. It was funny.

It was cool seeing Alphas crossing over with Warehouse 13.

Lyndsay Wagner plays the same character on both shows.

Yeah, that was a nice touch. It wasn't blatant, just a subtle hint that the SyFy shows (W13, Eureka and Alphas) exist in the same universe.

SyFy announced the other day that Eureka will have one extra episode next season to wrap up the series.

The show has been getting better and better. The Summer Glau episode did not disappoint. I wasn't terribly impressed with the pilot, but now it seems to be finding its stride.

I for some reason cannot get into this show but I think Haven is ok. I watched the first episode of Alphas and it didn't hook me so I haven't seen anymore. Does it get better?

Alphas gets better. You have to get to the most recent three episodes for that to happen however. I'm enjoying Haven too.

Yup! Give them a few episodes to flesh out their characters. Each of them have quirks in their own way and alot of potential back story. Both of those factors help me appreciate the show more. Then there's their ties with this government facility called Blackgate that could be using the Alphas they catch as test experiments or something sinister and darker.

Alphas is once again another reason why SyFy needs to plan things out more. I felt like I was missing an episode or two again. The Government's actions and Red Flag's change happen all too quickly. Still, the final two minutes or so are worth staying with this series. Also, the new bad guy has powers I've never seen before in any mutants. It should be interesting.

To me this is what heroes should have been

Some real interesting Abilities being seen and some great appearences

I think the show is almost over here. We're 8 episodes into season 2. Really good and a lot better than the first season. Main bad guy kicks ass. Almost worth owning if they can tie things together well. Oh and Azita Ghanizada is hot.

Really good and kinda started from where the last season left off.
Night to see some new characters introduced

Looking forward to the rest of the season

This season is really good. There are a few slow/setup episodes and the main bad guy's plan is something that's been done before in other comic/superhero movies. But they have really done a good job developing the story and characters into something just about worth owning. One more episode to go and I'll know if I'm picking up this season on Blu-ray.

ReplicantSavior
10-24-2012, 04:56 PM
Well, either this show is getting cancelled or they put together one of the best final episodes in Syfy history. Definitely getting the Blu-ray for this season. The final scenes were great and risky. The only minus would be the choice of music at the end.

01-18-2013, 06:05 PM
Damn. They stepped it up this season, with a great cliffhanger finale.
Really don't understand how some shows seem to aimlessly wander through to 6-7 seasons, yet shows like this get canned so early with such a strong storyline going.

SyFy is the worst, they cancel good shows like Alphas and replace them with crap like Ghost Mine.

01-18-2013, 09:26 PM
I refuse to watch anything on SyFy anymore. The network is dead to me after they wrapped up Battlestar Galactica, canceled Stargate Universe and shifted nearly all of their programming to reality based television and made for television B-movies.
