Who has every Gentle Giant statue ever made? Maquettes, Statues and Busts. Who has them all? (not including the holiday sandtrooper or any other non-retail pieces)

I have a complete set. Just finished it off with a blue clone. :)

You are talking Star Wars only right? I think I am complete except for that Holiday trooper too. And if they ever send them out, I'll have one of the Republic Commandos Maquettes as well.

The blue clone trooper was an exclusive of #1.000. I have all the statues and almost all the busts (including the damn exclusives :banghead: ) I don't mind the maquettes.

I have them all (as far as Star Wars goes). I have the commando maquette coming but I am not sure I am keeping it. Wish it was painted.

Waiting for the Biker Scout and Speeder Bike, and the Vader 2, Yoda 2, Sandtrooper Commander and Sandtrooper Seargent bust. Rumors: Darth Maul statue, Stormtrooper statue, Royal Guard bust, Tie Fighter Pilot bust, Diorama Rebel Luke and Taun-Taun.

I think the Darth Maul Statue is beyond rumor stage. It's mentioned right there on the Darth Vader Statue box!

Don't care for the maquettes. As far as the rest goes, all I need is the blue and red clones and the sandtrooper/dewback statue. I used to have the blue clone but Zurb won't give it back. :banghead:

Hey Zurb, can you post some more pics of that stealth clone? Just wanna' see it clearly coz' the one posted here has his gun blocking most of his face. Curious to see how the custom paint turned out.

I've got all the Star Wars busts and statues to date (including convention exclusives), except for that holiday Sandtrooper with the gold pauldron. The Republic Commando maquette is on the way as well. I also have all the Bust-Ups (including convention and retailer exclusives) except for the "Black Hole" Stormtrooper.

By the way isn't there some guy who won some GG contest who has a bust made in his likeness? Therefore it WOULD be impossible to have all of them unless you were that guy. But then again, even he doesn't have the "Zurb Special."

Good point! I think there have been a total of 3 busts made in the likenesses of contest winners by Gentle Giant.

Its in the closet right now. Hopefully I will get to it someday. I am finishing up a couple things for a person right now and next I am starting on my Eric Fischer full size Chatterer bust from Hellraiser. I have a full size Pinhead bust from Eric Fischer comng my way too. That one was sculpted by Howard Senft. Speaking of Howard S. I have one of his Luke on Taun Taun kits coming my way too. If I would stop spending money on this stuff I could afford the Blue clone again. :banghead:

$250 from a friend who was selling his collection. It's good to have plenty of contacts in this hobby. :)

It's strange and cool at the same time. Strange in that it's not like a picture of yourself, it's a full 3-D rendering, and as I look at it I can't stop from thinking "Damn, I got a big nose!". Plus the beard is long gone, I only grew it for a short time and it came off right after I got home after Celebration II where I was scanned for the contest.

But it is cool in that I've been immortalized as a Jedi. :D

And that blue clone that BigJohn's lamenting giving up, I think that was originally mine I traded to him for some painting services. That bust has got some miles racked up.

I was complete but liquidated most of my collection. From the lousy Mace Windu bust that people critique to the Gold & Silver Holiday Troopers that I was fortunate to acquire. Gentle Giant's problem to me is that they produce way too slow and their marketing stragedies suck. From congested lines to simply get a raffle ticket; to unattainable Celebration busts at retail price. I know I'm not the only person who feels this way but ......"heck".......... I had my fun in having GG's complete bust set.
