Is this statue vinyl like the DC Import that is avaiable in November?
The only thing keeping me from ordering the statue is that it is vinyl instead of resin.

I would be very very happy to hook anybody up with these koto's but they are quite expensive here about $90 and shipping is another $20 to $30 depending on weight they are also quite heavy..I can get the exact costs if you guys want..=)..but you guys may get a much better deal on ebay..=). :)

Well mine arrived today and all I can say is WOW! Seriously this is one of the best representations of Batman ever :buttrock:
The fact that it is made of vinyl does not detract from it at all. The pose is fantastic, the sculpting is spot on and the paint scheme is excellent. If I had to make one criticism it is the flesh tone used for the face, a bit dark in my opinion. But this is a very minor quibble. Honestly I love this piece it really is everything I hoped it would be when I first saw the ads for it.
I will post some piccies over the next few days of mine. You won't be disappointed :)
In the meantime the Legions of Gotham board has some fantastic actual shots of one here

i did see that. very cool effect! that's another line down the dark path. :) at one time i was looking at the 'Sylvester Stallone' Gicleé by Sebastian Krüger. talk about pricey art! he's also got some others in the thousands of dollars!

I hear ya my friend. That Krueger's Stallone it's awesome. I also like the ones you posted, but I never was into collecting SW art prints. But I simply had to have "The Trench" after I saw it. And it's even more awesome in person. The thing looks alive, you can get dizzy looking at this thing.
I want to frame it and hang on top of my ships! :buttrock:

its really interestin to see the dc batman hush next to the koto one. really, the accuracy of the koto one is as clear as night n day. the tim bruckner one looks more like an interpretatino of jim lee ... and the colors are so out. so blueish for the dc one.

In these shots: http://legionsofgotham.proboards2.c...read=1121533318 did anyone notice the liberal use of black spraypaint for "lowlights/shadowing"? All that black makes it look weird IMO.
