Any of GG's Republic Commando Maquettes?
I know GG's not selling them, butthey did design them for LA...
What about at the LA booth? Nothing?

I feel the same way...I was kind of hoping if they had the actual product
at SDCC that we might be able to gauge some kind of ship date...

Originally scheduled for June, it has been pushed back to July. If they keep to that then we should start to see these soon. Maybe after SDCC?

I'd love to work for GG. I might end up doing some sculpts of the Clone troopers. Not sure when that would be though.

I'm up to my butt in moving, plus I just finished off all my other work that I owed people from the last 3 years. Seriously. I was that far behind. Now I'm doing some little things for myself. Haven't done anything for myself in the last 9 years.
I am a huge Star Wars Geek, even though I was disappointed by the last 2 movies.
I finally feel like my skills are up to the challenge, well, I think. Every time I see a new GG, or Koto piece come out, I'm cowed. Hate to do something, put a lot of work into it, only to think it sucks 10 minutes after the fact.

I just started my Boba Fett.
Not sure when I'll get that thing finished. I'm hoping some time this week. Right now the gun which I scratch built is in the oven.

Here's the pose, and the gun in progress. Please note that the black gun above, is the gun from the 12" hasbro figure, and am using that for size reference. The scale I'm working in, is a bit bigger than 1/6th, which is why the gun I scratch built is bigger. It's made of brass, and of parts that I sculpted a long time ago.

This probably belongs in the Sculptor's category, but I figure this is okay, seeing as how Mikey posted his clone trooper. Very cool by the way.

Awesome Tommy. You should really start a Boba thread in the sculptors forum. I think there are a lot of folks who may not be seeing these posts who would be interested.

Great sculpts! I wish I had just a little talent like that I would be sculpting fool!
I also can't wait to get the Republic Commando maquette. It seems like they just keep pushing it back.
