C2E2 took all my money

Well first day is over at C2E2 and it was a good day. I spent way too much but it was worth it, excuse all the green but everyone should be use to it :)

First piece i got was from lee bermejo, he wasn't doing commission request but he was doing free head shots and wow these were awesome the shadowing with markers just make it look like he put in so much detail into every piece.

Next, i was able to get a fast pass from tim sale and i had two choices in mind (grudy or hulk related). I asked if i can get a two character commission, tim said sure but i would have to come back sat or sun to get it finished. I ended up going with planet hulk vs silver savage and so far it's looking good. I even dropped ken's name lol.

I was also able to add to my legion of doom jam piece, i had ryan benjamin add gorilla grodd to it.

Well that's it for today, i still have my jim cheung flash jam piece that he's adding too and a skottie young sketch and maybe an eric powell goon page he's taking cc so that is dangerous :sos

I like the Lee with markers it works well for the character instead of his normal stark black and white sketches. Can't wait to see the final Sale piece.

Heck of a first day. That Bermejo freebie head sketch is fantastic. Love Tim's take on Planet Hulk (though surprised one of our green skinned friends on this board hadn't done this). Can't wait to see how it comes out with the Silver Savage.

I got lucky on his list i walked up with a few min left and added my name. I was hoping i wouldn't win as i was trying to get frank cho to finish up my hulk piece and he said he would but after winning the moore lottery i did't have enough cash for cho .

Would've loved to have seen the Cho piece, but that Moore Hulk is one of the coolest Hulks I've seen In a while. I saw the finished Sale piece on the ES facebook page too and wow, you're haul is just awesome!

One more to add to the haul it's not a commission but a page from the great eric powell, i ended up getting this on sunday but eric had problems with the cc reader so i'll get it sometime next week. It's from the buzzard series, a fantastic 1/2 splash feat buzzard and the zombie priest. Attached is the actual published page but when i get the ink wash page i'll post it as it looks fantastic.
