Hey all -
Does anyone know of some good wall-hanging displays for card sets? I'm looking for something that will display the front of each card in the set, hanging flat against the wall, much like they are held in card sleeves (9 or more cards per display). Something similar to a flat picture frame would be preferable, rather than a bulky display. I've got an almost-complete set of Marvel First Issue Covers that needs to go on the wall.
Thanx!

Never heard of anything like that.
Below is a pic of a display that my mother-in-law bought me years ago. We have a few chase cards in it. My wife thinks that they make larger ones. This is an item that sport card supply stores might carry or know where to order.
Myself, I would figure out the dimensions needed and build one. Using fabric for the backing, pine frame, and plexi glass front.
I'll be building one this summer for original art.

They carry those at Michaels (the craft store) too. Just so you know. They're in the framing section where they put the display cases for footballs and records and stuff. It's always listed as a baseball or sport card display (no respect for non-sport cards! none!).

Has anyone had sucess with any of the past mentioned ideas? I want to display my Marvel Masterpieces. Any pics?
I was thinking of making a display myself with plexiglass but it would be a pain to try to keep them in place while putting the whole thing together.
The other option is to have a custom acrylic display made although I haven't investigated this yet.

back when i was a lad ( :eplus2: ) i had a project for school and made custom display for hte 94 rangers stanley cup team card set - i took a wood background and glued snap tight cases to it ( snap tights where like $0.75 and i bought like 25 of them ) then just made it look all fancy - maybe u can try doing something like that for ur display
its similar to the micheal displays that have been mentioned but u can arrange them anyway u want insteada of the pre-made way they have

One thing you might try is to put your display together, put your cards in soft sleeves, use a dab of some kind of glue (I suggest rubber cement) to glue them into place, once it is complete you've your cards in place (undamaged) put the plexiglass over them and whala.....nice little custom display. Good Luck :thumbs2:
