Chicago Convention (Wizard) vs. SDCC

So this is the first time I am going to go to the Chicago Convention. How is it in comparison to SDCC. I know SDCC is huge, but if SDCC sets the standard (10) what would you rate WW Chicago? 4? 6? Is there going to be anybody good in terms of companies (Sideshow, Gentle Giant) there? Thanks in advance...

WWChi is big! But SDCC is about 4x WWChi... I went to WWChi last year and there are many companies just like SDCC but More companies attend SDCC...

Yeah Chicago is always 2nd in the Cons, but it's still the biggest in the Midwest and possibly the east. SDCC rocks I need to go to one soon.

Yeah I have to agree Sdcc is freaking huge! Two days is not enough and if you bring kids try to go with them on Thurs or Fri, its not as crowded. Saturday is crazy and make it really difficult to push your stroller around.
Never went to Chicago Wizard but attended the LA one and that was a pretty good size.

WWC is very nice. I went last year and had a great time and will be attending again this year. I have never been to SDCC and realize WWC is not as big, but that may be a good thing. I do not like fighting crowds.
I would recommend going to WWC Thursday night, Friday, or Sunday. Saturday was really packed. I will be going Friday to get exclusives, doing something other than WWC on Saturday, and then going back on Sunday looking for last minute deals.

Yo Ghost you going to Chicago CC. I just moved to Michigan this month and I think that is a much more doable now than the sdcc. If ya did like to meet up with you and some of the others from this area and do a dinner kinda like they do for the sdcc maybe?

Thursday? They upgraded... Last year was only on Fri, Sat, & Sun.... and the main day that SDCC is really packed is Friday afternoon and Saturday... Just so you know...

I'm up for any and all events that anyone plans on those days. And yeah it seems they followed like the SDCC and added a preview night as well. Grilling with Doom sounds fun as well as any other Bowen Knight gig anyone puts on.
