Now, this I will agree is a gorgeous statue (boat/spear version only). I think this one is very nicely detailed with a lot of thought put into the base and pose. Detail on the armor looks great, and I love the spear and shield. The dragon boat looks awesome as well.

I am not a fan of the topless version, however. Mainly, is it doesn't really seem to fit the character. Makes me think she's getting ready to go to battle, when she looks down and realizes she forgot her top and bra . . . then she wakes up and realizes it was a bad dream.

Looks magnificent.

I like both versions. As a valkyrie's main role was to escort dead viking heroes to the celebratory feasting halls of Valhalla, I think topless suits her just fine.

The piece I am looking for is the ARH statue of Ares, the God of War. Hopefully Ares will look just as impressive as Medusa or Valkyrie! :D

BTW: After seeing the unpainted statue, I was totally impressed by it's beauty. In my opinion the painted face has a very different character and look, which unfortunately does not meet my expectations.

Are there any pics of Thor and this one together. I understand they're supposed to be somewhat complimentary, but the dynamics of the pieces are so different. Thor looks like he's calling down the thunder while she looks like she's thinking about laundry. On their own though, cool looking pieces. :)

Anyway, put her on my desk with Thor. Not exactly right next to each other but you get the idea.
