The only SF statues I care about are Vega, Guile and Chun Li, not technically grails but those are the only ones I want in my collection. Maybe the 1:3 Ryu and Blanka 1:4 depending on sculpt and pose. I didn't care much for the Blanka bust so if it looks like that I doubt I will get it.

Interestingly a lot of the PCS Street Fighter statues would be considered grails based on market value / general consensus. But I'm not going to enter that debate here because there are too many people on this forum (including myself) with a vested interest in the apparent value of certain statues.

Re. Sagat question. If the question is "should I buy this with confidence knowing I can flip it for more later." I think the answer is yes....depending on sculp, popularity of character and ES.
Otherwise, if you are collecting, it's up to you! :penguin:

I really love the Lion-o ex. you can still find it for a decent price. IMO it is a matter of time until the value explodes on these babies. I am also waiting for the whole gang, hopefully soon.

I see what you mean. We all would like our favorite statues to turn Grails from a financial standpoint or personal desire. In so many cases it doesn't turn that way.
I have invested money in pieces that had promising potential but the final product could not deliver. At the end of the day, what can you do? I do collect as a personal hobby more than just for economical interest.
Definitely the Street Fighter line is a hot commodity among collectors, mainly the abundant SF fan base (I count myself in).

Yeah I was kinda looking for a Xmas gift for myself and #1 Lion-o came up. Since I already had the exclusive ordered with SSC. I took the leap of faith bidding on it. And it was so nice of Jerry to add the Christmas Greeting underneath . Top Notch!

I have a feeling SK will be the new pcs grail for the majority of people once he releases. People keep saying sagat but I don't really see that. He looks good but I don't think he will be a grail.

Also i think akuma is a bit overrated and ryu is extremely overated.

I love my EX Scorpion. I've tried to display him with the normal head but end up switching back to the skull within a few hours.

Nice I prefer the look of the Alex Ex over the standard from the pictures of it shown thus far, but in regards to Sagat I prefer the look of the Sagat standard/Ex. The PCS ex is obviously more limited but the I prefer the shorts and need the extra portrait! To each is own I guess :D

I know that many of the Street fighter pieces are true grails, hard to come by for decent prices. But the Lion-O Exclusive is my personal grail, for sentimental reasons.

I think that "grail" means objectively as a "difficult to find and expensive". After this, this word can have many subjectively interpretations, for example like "my favorite figure".

lf we use grail as a "difficult to find and expensive" then all figures are grails at the moment that are sold out: Akuma, Ryu, Vega, Zangief, Ken, Morrigan,Cammy and probably Sagat. Some MK figures and some ThunderCats.

I don´t think that Guile or blue/red Chun Li are grails now. Nor Mumm-Ra, Kabuki and Lord Raptor. Can be purchased at fair prices yet and are available.

Guile is not a very appreciated figure compared to others and Chun Li eyes issues makes that many figures are still in the stores. Only black Chun Li can be considered a grail but not blue or red if are not repainted.

As a my "favourite figure" I like many of them but the best for me are Cammy and Ryu.

yeah I feel lucky to snag one for $900 shipped. It was hard to find him. Everytime I go home, he is the first statue I look at just because how massive he is. The paint on him is perfect in my opinion and the two heads really capture my idea of Zangief :)
