Who besides me will be collecting the Harry Potter bust line?

Having seen the excellent Harry Potter mini-busts at SDCC and being a fan of the property, it's a given that I'll be buying up this line. Is anyone else here anticipating the arrival of this series?

Also, anyone have a complete list of what's been announced for the series? So far I've seen Harry, two Sirius Blacks, Dumbledore, Dobby, Snape, and Nearly Headless Nick. Anything else known?

I might though I wasn't a huge fan of the third film. I am a fan of the third book, but not the film. They just bastardized it too much.

Honestly... I can't see myself investing money into another Gentle Giant Mini Bust line when they have totally dropped the ball on the Star Wars line... It upsets me... and it is the same reason I have a problem supporting DC Direct and their Mini Busts... they start a line and then boom... gone forever... And that is what seems like has happened to the Star Wars line...

They are extremely cool but theres just too much stuff to collect. As it is i may be cancelling some of the SS stuff ordered.

Meh, I really don't think so. I am sure they are going to come out with some good ones, but I would like to see them follow thur on at least one line before they start another. JMO.....their Star Wars stuff is really nice, but they take way to friggen long to get stuff out. My attention span is not that long................what were we talking about??? :laugh:

Or rather wife of silverageguy will be buying these so by defalt, I will be getting them.
I think it looks like a fun set. The first four are really great and there are probably 20 or so more just from the first three movies that could get made. Wife of silverageguy tells me the likeness is really good and that this will be similar to the Sideshow LOTR line.

I'm considering getting these as well. I love the books and the movies and I hope to get my daughter reading them when she's old enough. So far, I like what I've seen in this line. I just hope they don't release them as slowly as their Star Wars line.

Basically it's just a slightly different paint job. The SDCC edition is painted like the poster color (sepia) in the movie.

I can't see the HP line having as many variations as the SW line, so I figured since I'm finally starting a line from the beginning, I can pick these up.

I have the SDCC Sirius and love it.
I used to collect the star wars mini busts. I even had the Vader, Yoda, Blue clone etc. Sold them all. Then decided to go with the star wars maquette line. bought Asajj and clone trooper.. chaned my mind and sold them. I then thought about the star wars statue line.. bought vader.. sold it.

Now im doing harry potter since i LOVE the books. Im starting this line from the beginning.. no back tracking. I cant wait for dumbledore and the dementor.. heck snape, nick.. all of them. WHERE IS MY RON AND HERMIONE ???

I think GG will produce for this line for quite sometime since the last movie will not even be out til 2008 or later. :) happy collecting.

I will also be collecting this whole line. Does any one know how many are going to be out come the end of the month? Will it just be Dumbledore, Harry, Sirius, and Snape. O will the Death Eater and Nearly Headless be coming out with them.
I am a huge fan of the books. And a huge fan of the movies. Yes we all know the books are way better, but so far I think they have been doing a great job of making the movies. They must be doing something right or we wouldn't be waiting for our fourth movie.
By the way does any one know when or where there are going to be more previews for this film. I know it is still two months away but can't wait. They have the teaser on this website.

I am thinking about picking up some of these bust. I really love the books and the movies are pretty good too. Some of the upcoming bust and statues in this line look incredible.

I'm on board as well. Planning to get them all (with the exception of the regular Sirius, I have the SDCC edition and 1 representation is enough), busts and statues. That is unless SS and HH get in the way somewhere down the road.

The SDCC Sirius is the more accurate representation of him, anyway, since he only appeared on the wanted poster holding his Azkaban sign.
