Perna Studios Presents Spellcasters

Perna Studios is proud to announce our second trading card set titled Spellcasters. The set will spotlight different types of magic (White Magic, Black Magic, Chaos Magic, Voodoo/Shamanism and Fantasy/Mythology/Fairy Tale). We are starting off with two promos by artists Meghan Hetrick and Lynne Anderson. These promo cards will be very limited. There will be an announcement in October in regards to promo card P3. :)

The base set will consist of all new artwork by some of the best sketch card artists in the business. The quality seen in our first Classic Mythology trading card set will continue into our Spellcasters set.

Mostly original characters but the artists are also encouraged to draw their own versions of non copywritten characters such as Merlin, Morgan Le Fey and so forth.

Perna Studios is happy to reveal the 5 card preview set for Spellcasters. Each card comes with a short quote “by the artists” on the back and the fronts are all printed with spot gloss. Versicolor Productions did an amazing job printing these. We are extremely happy with the way these turned out!

Each set is priced at $9.99, but if you order 20 or more, you can purchase them for $8.99 each (shipping is extra and depends on quantity and destination). There will be 500 preview sets made. There will also be 25 randomly inserted sketch art cards among the 500 sets. Ordering 20 sets will guarantee that you get a sketch card, but that’s not to say that someone ordering just a few sets won’t get a sketch card. That means you will have some of the first sketch cards from this set!

Preview sets will be available for presale on January 14th 2013. To place your order, e-mail us at tmontana@sympatico.ca with your order amount as well as your shipping address. We will get back to you with a total for the cards with shipping costs. We are going to try to get the best price for shipping which is why we will need a few days to figure out the weight of the cards going out to certain destinations. If the orders get filled before you get your order in, not to worry, we will put you on a waiting list in case some people ordering change their minds or want less. Preview sets are expected to ship by the end of January.

SPELLCASTERS PRESALE WILL BE MONDAY MARCH 18TH

Here is some information about the presale. We will start taking orders on Monday March 18th starting at 5 PM EST until Tuesday March 19th ending at 5 PM EST. It is NOT a first come first serve basis. We will try to fill as many requests as we can. Sketch card PACKS are $26.99 each (Canadian Dollars) plus shipping (which will be determined by location and quantity ordered).

1. Please send us an email at pernastudios@yahoo.com with the title "Spellcasters Order" with your name, your mailing address, your Paypal email address and quantity of packs that you'd like to order.

2. We will contact everyone whose orders are confirmed on Wednesday March 20th. Please DO NOT send Paypal payments to the Yahoo email address. It is for order confirmations only. We will send Paypal invoices to those who have provided theirs.

3. Depending on how many orders we receive, we may have to draw names just to make it fair to everyone. We have fewer packs available to sell that we originally anticipated. Once your order has been confirmed, we will send you a Paypal invoice and you will have 3 days to make payment. If payment can’t be made within 3 days your order will be solicited to others. Sets will be scheduled for shipping approximately 4 weeks after payment has been made. Good luck to everyone.
