Can anyone give me some advice on the color scheme used for Red Daredevil? It a dark red but it is glossy. No one seems to know. I can't seem to get the right color for this statue. Also it it better to paint the statue or airbrush? What is a good airbrush to use? I've tried Testor's Mighty Mini and well lets just say I don't like it. If any of you master painters can give me some advice, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Txhiaj,

I don't own the statue myself, so I can't really offer any advice as far as color goes. But you can always paint a custom mixed color in any sheen, then top coat over the paint in a gloss finish coat. Gunze Sanyo and Testors both make a very nice gloss top coat.

As for airbrushes, see this thread:

I went to Michaels craft store and got a Badger airbrush. It's a basic $40 model but it does everything I need it to.
