Ok Poll For Silver Surfer Mini

Guys let put the vote out yes or no for a mini silver surfer to go with GALACTUS and mini FF4 . He must be made . Lets show randy the voting , make both a painted and chrome , just like the fullsize , so people can choose what they want , and make the same production run 1,000 painted ,2500 chrome. Randy said he was going to do it.
Voting on paint or chrome is also sorta pointless.
Randy said he's not going to do too much chrome from now on.
I'd like to have both though.
But will be extremely happy to just get one.

I just gotta say one more thing before I log off for awhile.
I was thinking asking for an update about this statue earlier today.
But didn't want to push my luck since Randy gave me an update on the Red Angel and Archangel busts, and gave a hint on Valkyrie.
A POLL now is pointless. Could even backfire.
What if the POLL did not show favorable results.
Then Randy might change his mind.

Think about it for a minute.
It's been pushed back quite aways.
There's more characters Randy himself wants to get done.
Many here are not keen on Mini-Statues.
So it wouldn't take much for Randy to just forget about it.
I've seen companies produce prototypes that never get into production.
I think Hard Hero's SS is in mini-scale.
Another company to beat Randy to the punch.
Another reason for him to change his mind.

Randy had shown us a sketch back on the original Bowen Forum. I'd asked this very question during one of the Ask Randy threads. His response was that he wanted very much to do this for Ph2 and there was an 80% chance it would happen.

This was a Silver Surfer mini statue. But he's in flight, on his board, and the height of the piece and the stand to simulate flight would make the thing fit Marvel's 12" requirement.

Also, it was a Jack Kirby pose but done in the John Buscema style to make it an image Randy felt more comfortable would translate into 3D.

I'd love an update on this one too, General!

I'm still planning the "mini" Surfer, however, as you may know the big "G" was cancelled (due to logistical problems). The little Surfer would be in scale with the mini FF's and yet be over 12" in total height as you described. Only the base pieces are complete at this point. Will it make phzII (Dec.)? Not sure at this point.

B.O.T.H./ BRB UPDATE: I've been working on this piece off and on. It's about half complete. If I can finish off a bunch of these other little jobs (tweaking etc.) I can finish him pretty quickly. Should be released in the Fall.

As someone mentioned earlier, I thought the plan is to make it FS height by using the board in some flying fashion but have the body at mini-statue size.

This would complete the set of FF and Galactus in fine fashion.
I hope BD does it since it is at the top of the wish-list.

Mini-statue chrome or painted surfer will sell out quickly, and everybody knows it, make it, just watch how quick it's gone. Whether they have a FS Galactus and the FF mini's or not.
This is a guaranteed sell out. Chrome only for me, I'd order it now if I could.

Guys, I know the mini-sized Galactus(19 inches) was out last yr. Any chance that Bowen will release the FS Galactus?

If you don't have the 19 inch one then all you have is open space, Bowen squished the idea of the "big" Galactus from what I've read in the past. It would have been really cool, but to much shipping and size of production was probably what killed this idea?
Maybe we could dress up a midget in a galactus outfit and cast it? Then paint your own?
I'm O.K. with midgets so don't blow up on me about this.
