Hey everyone

Does anyone make a portfolio that is large enough to store traditional movie posters and 24x36 posters?

how do you store your collection such as Mondo posters, movie posters, etc? There is only so much wall space lol and I would rather have them to where they're at least viewable instead of rolled up or something. I don't have a ton, but an Avengers poster here, a Pirates of the Carribean poster there, they all add up!

Thanks for the input!

So no tips? All you Mondo & Movie Poster collectors have that much room on the walls or store them rolled?

Some answers can be found here:

Basically, you don't want to keep your prints in tubes for long storage. If you're not going to frame them for a while, find a way to store them flat.

Fyi jerrys autorama is selling the 24x36 picturesque case for 149.99 . I just picked one up for myself. It also comes with 5 sheets to start you out. Really good deal

I have mine sandwiched between two acid free foam boards with glassine paper on top of each one at the moment. I keep it tucked underneath my bed frame.

i love mine! supposedly they hold up to 40 pages also. order extra pages when you order the book to save on shipping.

If you plan on collecting for a long time or you plan on buying a lot of prints that are that size, your best bet is a print file. I don't see print files mentioned very often on print collecting forums and I am not sue why. Buying portfolios or presentation cases for prints of that size will become very expensive over the long haul. If you only buy 1 print every couple months then its not a big deal but if you buy a lot of prints, your going to wind up throwing thousands down the drain over the long term. Buy one presentation case, for your favorite prints, and buy a print file for the rest.

I buy portfolios for all of my smaller prints, 13x19 and smaller, but I use a print file for most of my larger prints.
