What do you guys and girls think the next Mortal Kombat reveal that Jerry mentioned will be? Here's hoping it is revealed tonight! I'm hoping for either a dio or a Klassic Statue. My guess though will be the MK9 Scorpion bust.

oh gad I hope not. imo I think Raiden needs to be fully sculpted. A full mixed Media Raiden would look like a doll. An mk9 Raiden fully sculpted would be sick as hell.

God, is it time for a reveal already? If Jerry's gonna release so many MK pieces in quick succession, I won't be able to keep up.

Looks to be a Klassic piece since SK's from MK9, wasn't he? I recall Jerry saying he'll alternate between Klassic and 9 with every release.

I have learned that when Jerry says he'll reveal something "today or tomorrow" it means a few days to a week. I think he overbooks himself. I can't wait to see what it is though.

My guess is it'll either be a Klassic Mileena, Final Klassic Sub-Zero, or the Scorpion Bust. I wouldn't bet against a Dio either. I know jerry has said he would rotate Klassic and MK9 between months but i also read that he was on schedule to release four from each line a year. So that leaves 4 months free. My guess will be 2 dio and 2 busts a year.

I take it on a character by character basis. As of right now we have not started any of the bosses for Klassic.

He mentioned an MK9 Reptile once, but anytime I ask for updates on it wether it be scale, release, etc. he says "too soon still" so I'm assuming that means there is at least something planned.

I think the 20 dollars off reptile was a nice reveal for me... but enough with more characters, Jerry should just concentrate on subzero and finish him. A year teasing him then waiting to order him and then actually receiving him we are looking to get him 2 years after the first tease... I like to be teased but not that long, pleasure is turning into suffering

I'll be getting it. My question is Jerry said in the comments on FB that it wasn't the same sculpt as Scorpion or Reptile. To me the pants look different. I could actually see how this statue could be both sub zero's with a mask switch out.

Subzero looks to have his left fist raised higher. Scorpion has his right fist in line with his elbow and shoulder.

Also, I think Subzero's legs are different. At least the back one looks to be less bent.

I can't wait to have these two!

I think you Subby and Scorpion fans will be happy.

They are not a palette swap. I put alot of work into all 3 ninjas and while very similar I made sure the poses are not carbon copies of each character and each one is unique to itself.

When you pose Sub Zero and Scorpion together they will both depict their own poses and definitely compliment eachother.

I always assumed that you were the one that would sculpt all of the ninjas, but Jerry mentioned something about a sculptor that dropped out last minute. :confused2

I am very happy that it is YOU that is sculpting it...would not feel right if it weren't. :cool:

I don't think he literally dropped it as in the thing fell to the ground and fell to pieces.

I think he dropped the whole project (probably due to a quarrel or something) and now a different sculptor has to start from scratch on a whole new sculpt.

I don't think they'd burn their bridges as far as a good sculptor is concerned if all he does is unintentionally drop a sculpt to the ground. O_o

Well it'd be digital so if he did drop the sculpt they could just print another one... He dropped it as in decided to move to something else or not do it anymore or something ;p
