This has always been one of my favorite images of the Latverian monarch.
I was thrilled to get one signed by the King. The colors are delightfully crisp and sharp.
The size of the litho is 24 by 36. The run was limited to 250.

Very cool piece – the colors really pop! Having something from Kirby is pretty awesome – congrats! Was this a recent acquisition or have you had this for a while?

That's a great score! Really like the color on it, and come on it's a signed Kirby...

Using Al Gore's information super highway I have pieced together the following. Kirby drew this in the 70s and it was made into a very 70s color laden poster. Then in the 90s the French made a limited run of the poster in the purple colour. Both are highly collectible. The purple is more impressive in my opinion.

The French also produced a limited run of Fantastic Four lithographs also signed by the King.

I believe there are four of these 24"x36" Kirby posters/lithos available. Doom, Fantastic Four, Thor and Silver Surfer w/Galactus. I have all four repros and ALL are gorgeous Kirby works!

The more I read about Jack Kirby, the more I realize how much the industry screwed him over!

I've had it for a while. I don't really buy prints, however, this one struck me as apart from the prints/giclees and so on that we often see produced.

Based on this thread I bought an old Black Knight poster off of ebay. Described as NM it arrived in probably fair to good condition. But the seller refunded my money.

Moral of the story? Canadians lure you in with their fancy wares and then bait and switch through a giant scheme on ebay.
