Just got the newsletter and Jerry just teased Skeletor. Looks to be a bust.

My guess is yes. Jerry has been producing some fantastic looking life size busts recently and Skeletor will be another awesome addition!

Life size busts don't often have decorative bases. I'm thinking it's smaller scale. I hope it's smaller scale, say 1:3 scale :thumbs2:

When you save the file to your computer straight from the email it is titled "SkeletorBustLR" so it appears that it is going to be a bust if the file is named properly. :thinking: wonder if it going to be lifesize though. Whoever is doing the skulls for PCS is crazy good btw, the Shao Kahn, Scorpion, and now this. Very impressive work on the skulls.

I think it's just the lighting. Likeness seems really strong.

If the busts continue this style of only including the upper-body clothing/armour without the torso, I wonder how the other characters will be treated? Some will have great difficulty fitting in because their shoulders need to be included. The line will begin to look inconsistent if there are busts with shoulders and without.

I love the concept pic, both the realistic/darker style and the chosen pose. Based on the pic this is the MOTU line I could really get in to. I had the same thought as EnShinNoi, the base makes it looks like it could be another scale to the 1:1 line. Though, as it is, that would be one of the baddest 1:1 busts :buttrock:

By the way, the teaser for the Skeletor bust looks cool. It's very dark and serious looking. I really like it!

The sketch shows a lot of promise; I like the fact Skeletor looks so menacing. Maybe the bust line will consist of the slightly more "life-like" sculpts Jerry hinted at while the 1/4 statues will be pure Filmation? Consider me intrigued.

I suspect the bust line will be a very realistic filmation style as oppose to the classic cartoon vintage look of the 1/4 statues.

This kinda reminds me of the Neca bust version that came out like 8 to 10 years ago...but i am sure Jerry will make it look much better,but i will wait for the PF
