Thought I'd post up my pics in a gallery for everyone to check out. Got most of the GG stuff in there. Thought I'd post up some select few things that caught my eye here though. Oh and picked up a nice little item as well :)

The gallery is at WWC Pics (http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/humanchaos@sbcglobal.net/album?.dir=9c20) <center>

Gotta say this line is getting really good. I didn't take a pic of the Queen cause I figured you all saw her enough but I will take another pic of her from different angles tomorrow to see it. The hand looks VERY weird, and that sucks cause the rest is just gorgeous. This line is become a quick fave as well. I could not track down Rocco's Chrome Colossus though. I am sad. :*(

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v411/HumanCHAOS/ThorandCap.jpg

Just wanted to show another angle of the DST Cap. I really like it, will be getting it. The Thor isn't too bad either, there's a bearded one as well next to him, don't know why I didn't think to take pic of both, but they were hounding me to stop.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v411/HumanCHAOS/She-Hulk.jpg

She-Hulk looks great. I mean really it's a sweet piece. Could pass for a Bowen almost.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v411/HumanCHAOS/Namorface.jpg

Namor's face. Looks kinda wierd. Expression too big IMO. Randy's definitely better. But great anatomy piece.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v411/HumanCHAOS/DeathofPhoenix.jpg

Death of Phoenix. Awesome piece. Very detailed, the ripped clothes on Scott look great as well. I'm not that much into story specific statues, but it's beautiful.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v411/HumanCHAOS/PalisadesPredator.jpg

Palisades Predator statue. Looks kewl but very thin and looks like you can tell where he was all attached.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v411/HumanCHAOS/CorpseBridepieces.jpg

Corpse Bride toys? Dolls? I dunno but they're very kewl, I might get these.

Mignola Bats with the rest in back. Very kewl piece. I like this line alot.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v411/HumanCHAOS/SupesoverPlanet.jpg

This is a TOY. Literally. It looks better then the statue of him flying over the Planet. IMO. Very kewl.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v411/HumanCHAOS/DSC02094.jpg

And lo and behold it is I. With Alex Ross and Jim Maddox's busts I delivered to him. Everyone was dying to see what I was gonna give him, security thought it could be a bomb or something, until I who was at the end of the line finally brought them out to show him. He loved them.

Oh and lastly....

Picked up this baby for $170. Good price? I dunno but I had to have it! I love it!

Must be the same place then! He had 2 of the regular ones, and 2 nudes I think. Got 253 of 400, though my outer cardboard box was 93 of 500 heh. He had it for 190, $170 was the lowest I could get him to go. And actually I was on my way to get some cash cause this guy was going to sell me a Bowen Gambit for $105. Maybe tomorrow I can get it for less. But I think I've spent enough already heh. :D

dfury passed by today. met him and his family. i was with "secretasianguy" from the forum. met a couple of other guys. got in the halo tourney but walked out because my control was reversed (up was down and down was up). by the time i got it fixed, i was already in the hole about 7-0. they were taking the top guys and no way i was going to make it. i was asked to come back for another round but at that time i was bs'ing w/some people so i didn't. then i played 4th place person and won 20-14.

i spoke with GG & HH for a while as well as MR. Talked with Palisades. I know the boys well but i don't really know if their product (Aliens / Predator) is still hot. Line has been out for a while so i'm thinking about it. MR wants to work with me a lot so we will see what's up. There's a company called:
Bolt Gallery (http://www.boltgallery.com)

we spoke about a StatueForum exclusive piece. A low run of about 30 for a medium figure. They have the license for both Star Wars and Aliens / Predator. Any thoughts?

already have lined up a couple of forum exclusive pieces. i'm excited about them. as i get more info, i'll let everyone know. maybe i'll start setting up a booth at the cons. if enough forum exclusives come around and sell, that could be a good possiblity.

oh, what do you guys think of GG's "Corpse Bride" series? seems interesting but don't know what fans will think.

Sounds like a cool idea, D. I think those Bolt guys were at SDCC last year (or something very similar) and the work was awesome. Corpse Bride looks nifty, but I know nothing about them. Yup guys that's Snowbird between Kitty and Moon Knight. Scary huh? Haha you should see me when I'm not at a con :P

Dude, Danny I looked all over for that Windy City Comics place, I found the spot on the map but I didn't find anyone around there. Was it the booth with all the Transformers stuff or was it the one right behind it? I figured when I looked (which was around 2 30 or so) you might have been gone by then.

Damn I DFury did you get it at the same spot I got mine? Most likely. If only I brought him down to $150! But hey the guy was trying to get out of the biz so I think we did good business :D

I talked to those Bolt guys too, they Predator stuff is kewl.

what did you think of the bolt figures?

Ghost
08-07-2005, 03:59 PM
I stepped in that Halo thing for a bit but there was alot of kids playing it, so I didn't wanna you know beat them all so I just walked on by. I wish they had some classic Streetfighter though! And those Bolt figures, yeah I talked to them for a bit about where I saw them, really impressed with the Queen and Predator as well as the Robots figures too I liked though. I'd like to paint them up. It would remind me of Bill and Ted's second movie when they make robot versions of themselves all made from junk and were painted up.

d rod
08-07-2005, 04:03 PM
i love their work. i already have 4 pieces. they agreed to a forum exclusive. just have to figure out if the members would want an aliens, star wars or predator. i can pretty much have them do 30 pieces so that would be cool. wouldn't need that much of support for the most part.

Ghost
08-07-2005, 04:05 PM
Sweet deal. I have to say the strongest of the 3 is Predator IMO. Especially one like the masked version. The aliens are pretty sweet too. From SW I thought they were neat but only really thought the Battle Droid or Threepio looked great. The rest are great representations but just not enough for me.

The Marvel booth was pitiful compared to DC and some others. They basically just had tables for the artists and not much else going on. The screens they had was just showing the Hulk video game and some other smaller bits. No talks about any movies yet either. Maybe if anyone else heard something it could be possible. Only stuff I saw was previews for V for Vendetta which looked interesting.

I have to say it's slightly bigger then the usual DC statue if you know what I mean? It's got great detail, and like I said I liked how they made the rips on Scotts clothes they don't look like crappy pieces stuck on him. I'd say they were around 7-8inches tall, being that they're bent backwards and the wall would prolly be like 10 inches? It's a good sized statue for sure.

Well I liked them enough to buy them. As Ghost said, they are small, but there is quite a bit of detail in them and they are heavy. The Star Wars one probably weighs over 10 pounds. Not sure why.
