"MKOnline exclusive reveal" or some such. The number of them is surprise though, even more than Reptile. I suppose that's because people were clamoring for reptile but he's definitely more popular then Smoke :o

wow this is a surprise and a half!! im not thrilled he has the same pose as scorpion but at least its mirrored so he'll match up perfectly with subzero, facing off against scorp and reptile which will match, that's how ill display all 4 :) assuming I get a smoke

Have to say, not really interested in this one. Scorpion, Reptile and Sub-zero had slight changes that made them intriguing, but this is just a palette swap of subz. I know the other ninjas are palette swaps of one another in the game, but you need that little extra something to make these statues varied. Making the ice arms into smoke arms is not gonna cut it for me.

Glad I got the 3 ninjas I really wanted,but if this is the real smoke then I hope to see something else with the last ninjas.

Well, considering today is the 24th it's really like 17 days warning wouldn't you say? I'm sure it will pop in the newsletter between now and the 10th. As to whether or not the site will be ready...that's a good question.

Well he comes with different arms then subbys default post anyways but you won't be able to use the Scorp/Reptile arms on em.

I'm perfectly happy with the repaints :P Actually I still want one more ^^ ERMAC!!! I don't think they're considerably difficult to produce unlike a new statue so it's not like they are "hurting" the production of the line or anything. Don't like don't buy ;p

Like it or not these standard fighting poses are the definitive Klassic Look. No other pose would make sense for this line. The beauty and the beast of the Klassic representations is they are all similar aside from their defining colors. Despite then being mirror images and pallet swaps, these are going to be jaw-dropping when the entire set is displayed on one level shelf.

I disagree, I think the fighting pose is more about having a neutral "museum" pose, so a static win pose would fit in just fine, to me it's more about museum vs action not stance vs another kind of stance

While similar, Scorpion and Sub Zero are not identical. There are slight pose differences, muscle differences, wrinkles, foot positions, arm positions, leg bends, different heads. Reptile has his own arm pose and heads. While they look similar for those that get Sub Zero and Scorpion you will be able to see differences and they are not 100% identical. I worked very hard on these and I think you fans will be pleased.

I think you did a great job tweaking things so they are different but at the end of the day its still possibly up to 7 sculpts of the same costume and overall similar design, no matter how many little things are different, its still a bit of a stretch for me, but don't get me wrong I think its awesome you worked on all the little details to keep things as different as you could, that shows a lot of attention to detail and pride in your work, but there is only so much that can be done when the costumes are all the same, and possibly the same stances, it gets to the point where it needs to be an entirely new pose, like a victory pose or whatever, that would break up the repetitiveness of all the costumes being the same, that's all im trying to say with my endless complaining :p for example if rain was made, it'd be a tough sell for me if he ended up being like smoke, but if he was in his victory pose with newly sculpted legs/arms/position etc it would be fresh again, even though its the same costume, and i'd buy it 100%. I know that can be difficult with a low ES though, so really its up to PCS to decide how they want to proceed, and either way they will be hits

As Sculptor and just for the record,

While similar, Scorpion and Sub Zero are not identical. There are slight pose differences, muscle differences, wrinkles, foot positions, arm positions, leg bends, different heads. Reptile has his own arm pose and heads. While they look similar for those that get Sub Zero and Scorpion you will be able to see differences and they are not 100% identical. I worked very hard on these and I think you fans will be pleased.

I completely agree. Reptile, Scorpion and Sub-zero each had something unique to their statue. Scorpion's iconic white eyes and look aswell as his muscularity came across great, aswell as his own pose. Reptile has a switchout head and his own pose, and finally Sub-zero had his own masked face aswell as his special pose.

It seems that with Smoke, it's now sub-zero's head with scorpion's pose and Sub-zero's ice arms made into 'smoke arms', and it seems like the basic ninja sculpt is now being used as a lego kit to finish off the last ninjas.

I really wanted all the ninjas to have their own unique feel, because it would be a really interesting challenge by PCS, but with Smoke it just seems to be sub-zero + scorpion = smoke.

Yes, thank you for sculpting these with the noticable differences that make these 3 stand out. Even without color it's easy to recognize each one which is awesome. I love that you made Sub-Zero and Scorpion face each other instead of using the easy method of reusing the same leg pose.

I do agree with others that if Ermac/Noob/Rain are made it would be a nice change to have a victory or different pose to bring distinction between them.

I will gladly admit that my knowledge of MKO is lacking. How does not knowing about a website in 2013 make me less of an MK fan back in the arcade days? Today it's all about nostalgia for me, as the memories are far better than playing MK today.

Everyone at work does not believe my age. I get people falling to the ground all the time not believing me. The one that takes the cake is those bastards in the movies ask me for ID for rated R movies even now. I'm like uh... Ok heres my ID and they feel stupid. But it's fun. Most of all my friends i hang out are in thier earlys 20s. Even the girl I'm seeing now is in her early 20s. It's just how things gel. But I do get along with everyone of all ages. Seniors love me, they always come looking for me at work. But I've learn a lot from expierence on psychology. I do trade the markets so this does require some of that. Wow too much info! But you ask I tell :D

I do agree. As much as I want all ninjas, even Rain, I can't justify spending so much on nearly half dozen statues with such the smallest change in pose. The main 3 will (should :o) do for me.

I agree. As much as I love the ninjas, I'd like to see other characters. Would like to see Rain, Noob and Ermac as well but victory poses look weird to me, and it won't go well with the 4 ninjas in fighting stances. But I understand people's concern about paying $300 for a statue that is almost a repaint..

I can see where they could have gotten a discount though when doing all the ninja's at once from the factory though. Probably saved A TON of money rather than doing 2 ninja 2 females and then 2 more ninja. Might as well do them all at the same time if they all have roughly the same body/arms. Saves time and cash in the long run.

Yeah, so I now have mk9 kitana by herself :waah: no others coming soon. I'm guessing Jerry is moving forward to the new game coming. So for now the many similar repaints on classics is much easier to do for now, since they are all just about the same scuplts. If it was mk9 it would be all new scuplts which would take tons more work and time to do. Classics there will be like 10 of everything with tiny changes and a different color.

It's an awesome machine, I've driven a few at different car events. I had a Murcielago LP640 which I sold to get the Aventador. It's "less" scary to drive than then Murcie or Diablo but holly hell does it launch! And pull like a mother!

Can't wait to get it and have some fun next summer :)

100k cars? :laugh: with 100k you are talking about a normal daily high end BMW, Mercedes, well a early gallardo is a bargain these days. You know a new adventador is about close to 500,000.00 plus with taxes. But either way the repairs is the reason that could make some think first or sell early. I've seen owners do this before. But I'm sure some dont care about repairs etc. No matter what owners buy or do. Congrats on owners with the fun rides. Life is short so live a little ;)
