Modern Wolverine has arrived!!!

After waiting for what it seems an eternity in this hobby, it finally arrived to my front door.

Detail is great but it has some issues (at least mine).

The eyes are too dark and not as white as the brown version or the prototype. There was also sloppiness in the paint application and visible glue on the joints (Bad call GG, bad call).

Besides the obvious flaws (I'm not sure if I will end up returning it or fixing it), it is an excellent piece. Not as good as the brown version but good nonetheless.

It seems in the photos but in person is not that bad. They forgot to whiten the eyes though.:confused:

The paint work is good besides the eyes and the glue spots. I will fix it myself over the weekend and post new pictures then.

I used "mother of pearl" acrylic glossy paint on the eyes to give a sense of density instead of plain white.

For the glue on the arms, I applied a small amount of "goo gone" cleaner with a soft tissue and then I scraped it carefully. I washed it with soapy water afterwards to remove the excess. After it dried up, I applied acrylic blue and yellow paint with a fine brush to cover any imperfections.

I do too but they look great together. Hopefully GG decides to release a X-Force version though I am not holding my breath. It might take awhile :tumblew:
