I'll be getting it. I didn't really like the first game with all the Bruce Banner stealth mode crap. Beat it pretty easily too.

I read a review on EGM and they gave it good marks. One of the things that make it good are the power upgrades, I guess kind of like the Spidey 2 video game, that you can somehow upgrade your character to do even crazier moves. I'll probalby buy this game, beat it, and sell it on Amazon, so I can get money to get the Ultimate Spider-Man game, LOL!!

I played a demo that came with the latest issue of Official Xbox Magazine and it was pretty fun and looks great! My only problem with it was that it was a timed demo, like 3 mintues long. I'm hoping that this was just the case for the demo and that there aren't any timed levels in the game, I hate that.

He's stolen ideas from fellow Marvel comic icon Spider-Man, whose Spider-Man 2 game gave players full control over the webslinger's goo-shooters and set him loose in a sprawling New York City. Ultimate Destruction follows suit, diligently reproducing Mr. Green's unlimited strength and unleashing it in smashingly fun urban and desert playgrounds. And while these enviroments aren't as pretty or dynamic as Spider-Man's metropolis, the missions themselves are usually more exciting (especially the bonus games that have Hulk batting soldiers for distance records or trying to leap across the city without touching the ground). Story missions do get repetitive and control gets slippery when you push Hulk to full bore, but unlocking new powers kept me in the destructive mood.

Nope i played the full game at comic con, and it is NOT timed, thank god.

I played the demo on the Xbox Official Mag DVD. It's pretty crazy, stuff flying everywhere, explosions, throwing people and cars. I was pretty much button mashing and I got a 10 on the destruction scale. I couldn't destroy the helicopter though. It was a blast. Running up the side of buildings, jumping long distances, smashy smashy....it was all good. If only there was some children with lost balloons or a man hanging from a building to save...

Ok, I don't usally buy video games, but I'm going to pick this game up for sure. Since I have some "reward certificates" from Best Buy, I'll get it there. On the website, it says that it's going to get it on 8/26, this is a Friday. Anyone know if this is correct? Best Buy usually gets their video games on Friday?

So did anyone else pick this game up??!! I've probably played 3 hours of it and it ROCKS!!! Don't know if I'll end up keeping the game though, I just might sell it after I've beaten it, since Ultimate Spider-Man is around the corner.

Played the first level yesterday & so far it's killer! You can do crazy stuff on it...run up the sides of buildings...do crazy leaps like in the movies...pick up just about anything & fling it, even military guys. One of them even screams..."Ahh...I can't feel my legs!" :buttrock:

Yeah, I got it last Thursday before the Hurricane, LOL!! I got it for 49.99 at Best Buy cause I had some Reward Zone coupons, but since Circuit City has it on sale for 39.99, I'm gonna go back to Best Buy and get my 10 bucks. About the game, it ROCKS!! The only thing is, I'm pretty certain that I chose "NORMAL" as gameplay but how come it feels SUPER easy??!! Most of the missions only take me ONE Try and The bosses probably 2 or 3 tries. Anyone else think this game might be too easy?!!

It is ok, a bit of doing the same things over and over. The buildings are about the only things you can not destroy. Maybe later you can destroy them with ease. Miami can you destroy the buildings in the city? I destroyed one and got 10000 Smash points, but it was against a hulkbuster unit and don't know how it happened.

Abomination, a few Hulkbusters, a woman named Mercy, huge Robot things like a huge Hulkbuster, so far. That is just up to the start of Ch. 3.

Yeah, I think only a couple of buildings can be destroyed in the city. I really love the "Weaponization" upgrades!!!

Well, there is a Banner character you can buy for a million smash points. You can also replay the game as Abomination, haven't done it yet, but I think it is for the missions, also.

Yeah the game is a little short. I would liked it to be at least ten more hours of gameplay.

Just started. Its fun but i can see how it could get old after a bit. Whats with the bonus missions though? golf, baseball (kinda) - its fun but you get 10 of these per every story mission..it all seems a bit unfocused and reminds me of spidey 2 (which i still loved).
Actually the first tim eyou meet abomination i presume you dont really do anything to beat him? My son (18 months old) was playing with the control pad - took it off pause and next minute the boss was beaten!! Eithe ri have a gaming prodegy on my hands or ..
